Bio and Links
Bio Photo Living in Southwest Virginia after retiring as a Critical Care nurse. Always loved genealogy and now incorporating it with history and involved with Find A Grave.

I follow Find A Grave guideline and if you want me to transfer a memorial to you, it should be a DIRECT relative within four generations. ( FAG says: This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.) Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management.

Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. FAG's goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.

Please contact me if you would like something added that you can't add. I believe flowers should be for someone you know not to decorate a page.

Feel free to use any of my photos without giving me any credit. I am dedicated to preserving our passed loved ones and linking families.

Freddie Lee Webster, Memorial# 147847613
this child is not buried in Monte Vista cemetery in Johnson City, Tenn and you have him with the wrong mother. Ruby Georgia Worley who is the mother of this child was born in 1905 not 1912. And she's the wife of Awman Webster not Ruby Virginia Worley Cofield. Please delete this memorial. Thanks

Vera June Meen
My hobby for many years has been to add memorials to Find A Grave. When I add one with only a birth date I have no way of knowing if the death date has not arrived or if the family has just not added it. Particularly, for someone born in the 20's the likelyhood of them having died is not to far fetched. I do hope that anyone who knew Ms. Meen would realize that she had not died and if they were offended by the entry would contact me and let me know at which time I would have deleted the entry. On the other hand many times a person has died and the death date is not entered and never is. In that case family members looking for the person cannot find the info. or better still they will let me know when the person died and I will add it to the memorial. Find A Grave may not like it but there are circumstances that they may not be aware of. Sorry if I have offended you.

RE: Michael Olen Johnson
We may have been able to get his obituary back in 2012. But, there has been many privacy changes since then. I don't know where you live, but you may check the local library for an obituary. I'll transfer the memorial to you. I am a Johnson by blood, but am not related to him. Good luck on finding more information!!!

Thought you might be interested in this link. I wished I had not deleted the one memorial until they had merged the cemeteries.

RE: Dills Cemetery
Ok. I remember now. It is off Robinette Valley Rd. It is on private property in a field. They were not home at the time and we didn't want to go on their land. I could not see the cemetery from the road. I did have the GPS coordinates for it at one time. Maybe I can find them again. It has been three years, so I don't know if I can. If you click on the person I transferred them to, you can see my message to her. That is what jogged my memory. I will be out of town until Monday.
Maybe we can meet and try to find it. I hope I can find the GPS coordinates again.
