Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired educator who just recently began searching for my families history. I am interested in finding out as much as possible so that I may get it recorded for my grandchildren. Hopefully, they will pass their heritage along to future generations. I have found a lot of info at ancestry on most of my family. However, there is a lot more to learn. Since I became a photo volunteer at FindAGrave, I have been visiting cemeteries and taking photos for others who live a distance away. This has also been done for me. I have photos of family that I could not have obtained without the help of other volunteers. I have teamed up with 2 other Find-a-gravers, Dottie Gilder and WD and the three of us work together to get as much information as we can for all the cemeteries in Tattnall Co. Genealogy is fascinating and there is so much history to be learned.

RE: Martha Thomas Tanner
I don't maintain a memorial for any Martha Thomas Tanner, and can't find another on Find A Grave that died in 1907. Would you please explain? I am missing your question. I'll be glad to help if you let me know who has the same birth/death date.

James Henry Durrence

James Henry Durrence's Find A Grave Memorial# 59730494

I am really hoping that you can point me to information that confirms who his parents were. The memorial says Parents: William Durrence (1823-1860) and Margaret Ann Burkhalter Durrence (1823-1880). Where was this information obtained?

James Henry Durrence was married to Sarah Angeline Waters Durrence.

Thank you again for your assistance!

Hello I see on James Henry Durrence's page you posted that his father was William Durrence 1823-1860. Do you have any specific information that you could point me to which verifies his parents? I greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide!

RE: Cleveland Berry Leggett #75192870
Sorry to be so late responding. Was Cleveland your great grandfather? Please e-mail me directly @, and we can exchange more info on Cleve (sp?), Athie, and family.
