Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for the last fifteen years. The main names I am researching are Abernathy, Coley, Higgins, Howell, Knight, Ledford, Roach, Moss, Whitmore, and Williams.

My other hobby is photography. I take photos of everything from cemeteries to concerts.

If you see any of my photos that are very tiny (ie. the size of a postage stamp), please let me know. Several years ago, the Find A Grave website had a weird glitch that made dozens and dozens of my photos the size of a thumbnail pic. I did not upload these tiny pictures. If you will let me know, I can hopefully replace them with a normal size picture.

Please note that I don't have editorial control over memorials that are listed as famous. If changes or corrections need to be made, please contact the Find A Grave admins.

I have created a website dedicated to my family cemetery, the Old Macedonia Cemetery of Bartow County. You can find it by following the link below.

And please be aware that just because I have taken a cemetery photo, it does not mean that I operate the cemetery or have anything to do with the cemetery. I only took a photograph.

Any photos that were taken by me may be used on genealogy websites such as You have my permission. All I ask is that I am given photography credit.

George F. Johnson
Thank you for posting this memorial. I believe that this person is related to Fletcher Johnson AR. If so, he may have been born in 1934. Thank you.

Benjamin Tallmadge
#8045247 you may want to add this to the information on his site

Tallmadge is best known for his service as an officer in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. In this conflict he acted as leader of the Culper Ring, a celebrated network of spies in British-occupied New York. He also led a successful raid across Long Island that culminated in the Battle of Fort St. George.

(He is one of the characters in the TV series TURN.)

Mary J dowdy/Basil Brady Phillipi
Mary J Dowdy and Basil Brady are my great great grandparents, their children were Lucy Brady Wade, Anna Brady, Louis Brady ( Alcoa TN), Basil Brady ( Etowah N), Benton Brady and Mary Brady. I know all of these others are buried in the same plot, but I haven't found any indication that they are their children.

RE: even more abt John Clark
Saw that. Raymond buried at same cemetery is son of the John S. The George L Clarke at same cemetery is cousin to John S.

I uploaded the death cert of Mildred to her memorial. It lists John S as being from Cartersville.

No evidence yet that Cammie in same cemetery is related. The 1930 US Census indicates that the John S married to Cammie Webster is not the same John S.
