I started in Genealogy when my aunt brought me two boxes full of pictures from the 1880 through the 1950's, that my Grandmother had written names and dates on. That was 1980. Then with the advent of the computer, and the on line data bases, it became easier, or rather, faster.|
When the kids left home I became addicted.

Hi Helen......Hope you are doing good and things are going good for you.
Could you delete the headstones on Cola and Emma Parker pages so I can update them. These are my parents page.
Cola Parker 24872035
Emma Parker 24872041
Just took a picture today of the headstones so the death dates are on them.
Thank you in advance.
|Dot Harcum||Rich Square Baptist Church Cemetery|
Just wondering if you created the Find A Grave entry for Rich Square Baptist Church Cemetery and if you did to let you know there IS NOT a Rich Square Baptist Church Cemetery in Northampton Co., NC.
You posted a pic of the cemetery which shows some of the gravemarkers looking across RT 258 towards a church (which was the site of a former Pinners Baptist Church) that is now a black church (can't remember the name).
The cemetery pic you show on this memorial is one taken of Cedar Lawn cemetery on Rt 258 north of Rich Square.
There are 5 memorials on Rich Square Baptist Church, 4 of whom are buried in Cedar Lawn. I haven't found any info on the 5th individual.
I've written to the creators of the 4 memorials posted in Rich Square Baptist Church Cemetery who are buried in Cedar Lawn advising them of the incorrect cemetery and asking them to transfer the memorials to the correct cemetery.
If you created Rich Square Baptist Church Cemetery, you could remove the pic and place it on Cedar Lawn's page, where it should be and then write a note in the description of the Rich Square Baptist Church Cemetery advising researchers that the memorial was created in error, that there is NOT a Rich Square Baptist Church Cemetery.
Hopefully that would keep people from posting memorials to that page in the future. Or you could request that Find A Grave delete the cemetery - after the memorials that are there are transferred to Cedar Lawn (for 4 of them).
Thanks for your help in eliminating the confusion.

There are two Thomas Coopers in Marietta National Cemetery. You have a grave photo on
Find A Grave Memorial# 28829115 (Thos Cooper Plot: F-4775)
that should actually go on
Find A Grave Memorial# 3947762 (Corp Thomas Cooper Plot: G, 7564).
Could you please fix?
Thanks for all you have done in that cemetery.

Thanks for updating the info on Mildred's memorial and for mentioning me.
Also, thanks for the pic of Mildred.
She and Clyde were special people to me and my parents.
|John Cogan||Joseph B. Graham|
Hi Helen... Sorry for the confusion! The information I provided was on Joseph B. Graham! Joseph B. Lander is one of my LIVING friends in Vermont! I was not completely paying attention!
|John Cogan||Joseph B. Lander|
Hi Helen... Tom shows Joseph as a Corporal
in the 9th Vermont Infantry, and you show him
as a Private later on in the 6th US Infantry.
Maybe he went down in rank when he switched?

I viewed several memorials on the website today that are related to my family and I wondered if you might be related also. Arthur P. Dalton b.1896 d. 1971 Mendon, Worcester County, MA, buried in Swan Dale Cemetery and his wife, Irene M. Mathewson (Dalton). My family records show that they had a daughter named Ruth Dalton. She married a Donald Kearsley. You also have added Kearsley memorials. Do you have any additional information on this family. Arthur's father was Richard Dalton, my great uncle.
