Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 49-year old mother of 2, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. I have lived in Charlotte, NC for 20 years. I found Find a Grave when I started researching my family tree. I feel that it is so important to keep as much of our history and heritage intact as possible, so I am trying to do my part by photographing cemetery markers and creating memorials as I have time. It's not a speedy process, but I really do enjoy it, and I hope I am helping someone to "connect" or become inspired to do the same. Feel free to use any or all of my photos anywhere, anytime, and without credits. Enjoy!

Esther Luella Coffer Dugal Smith
Dear Ms. Golson,
I'm in such admiration of the work that you do for others and am proud to be involved in the process of collecting memories with you. I hope these memorials help all families to remember who they are and where they come from...We think we know why people act the way they do or we think we know someone very well in life. Later, we find the kaleidoscope in which we were looking at someone had only a few colors. I certainly better understand my family and my husband's family because of what I now know.
Anyway, would you be so kind as to attach my husband's grandmother, Esther Luella Dugal Coffer Smith #44920384, to her sister, Anita Coffer? I'm hoping this will link all of the Coffer family links together and Esther will be included in records. Thank you so very much in advance. If it's easier for you to transfer Esther to me that would be fine as well. I'm just very happy that you do what you do! Kimberly

not sure you still check messages - RE: my previous message - I found his grave and I have posted memorials for his parents. Are you a descendant? If not, I'd be happy receive management for his memorial if you'd like to transfer since I am a direct descendant. If you prefer to keep it, that's fine - just offering. Thanks.

Josiah Franklin McCall
Did you take the pic of Josiah Franklin McCall's grave at Philadelphia Presbyterian Church in Mint Hill, NC? If so, was it in the cemetery right beside the church? ( They have 3 cemeteries). I'd like to go place flowers on Memorial Day but I need to know where it is.

Hello Elizabeth - I am presently taking pictures and revising records for New Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau and came across the Behymer graves. it looks like Hamer's name is spelled wrong on his memorial page. Or was his name Homer? I looked at and it says Hamer but his death certificate could be Homer or it could be Hamer. The gravestone has Hamer. Could you check into this? Thanks. Ruth

Hello Elizabeth!
I see that you are a descendant of Mattias, he's my forth Great Grandfather!
So maybe we are distant cousins!
