Parents of Benjamin Havens b. 1760 d. Aug. 23, 1823

Do you happen to know if the parents of Benjamin Havens b. 1760 d. Aug. 23, 1823 might be Nathaniel and Esther (Graves) Havens?

I descend from a son of this couple by the name of Nathaniel, who also lived in the same area as Benjamin. I am considering the possibility that they might be brothers. The younger Nathaniel was born about 1762-1768 and moved from Oxford, Chenango County NY after their 1820 census.

The Covington, Genesee County NY census for 1820 was not completed until Feb 1821. It enumerates what I believe must be the younger Nathaniel. He appears in the 1830, 1840 and 1850 census records of Leroy, Genesee, NY. I am unable to find where he died or was buried. Most likely he and/or his wife Clarissa/Clara died in or near Leroy.

Thank You,

Tim Marvin

You have listed two children. What about all of the rest? There are many.

Aaron Williams

First of all, thank you very much for posting Aaron & Olenia Williams tombstones on find-A-Grave. I have been researching the Williams family for many years and wondered if you are related to either Aaron or Olenia.

Thank you for your time,

Warner transfers
Thanks for the transfers. Totally unexpected. I will probably pass them on to Find A Grave member John Warner, who is related to these particular Warners. Thanks again.

Fanny Gilbert
Not requested but good to have. I've been doing quite a bit of research concerning Baruch Gilbert's family with Fanny. The sons headed west.

Back to Nehemiah---
The Oklahoma descendants use the SPALDING spelling. Your photograph has enough of Nehemiah's surname to indicate that they are correct. Thank you.

Thank you for photographing this very old tombstone. Some of his descendants ended up in Oklahoma and I know they will be pleased as well.
