I'm denying your request to make parental links for William Burton (1835-1904) (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=126408470). I can't find anything to connect William to the suggested parents. If you have sources, please send them (through the memorial's Edit tab.) Thanks, Ellen

FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR ENTERING MY GREAT GRANDPARENTS ANDREW AND HILDEGARD JOHNSON FAMILY AND MANY DEAR FRIENDS AND MORE DISTANT RELATIVES.
I WENT TO THAT CEMETERY OFTEN AS A CHILD WITH MY GRANDMOTHER. WE LIVED LESS THAN 3 BLOCKS AWAY. SHE TOLD A STORY ABOUT THE CHESTNUT TREE THAT WAS IN THE CEMETERY FOR MANY YEARS. I DO NOT REMEMBER THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE INVOLVED A YOUNG BOY DIED AND HIS MOTHER FOUND A CHESTNUT IN HIS POCKET AND PLANTED IT ON HIS GRAVE. WE EVEN PICKED THE CHESTNUTS AND BROUGHT THEM HOME AND ROASTED THEM.
I AM LOOKING FOR A GRAVE THAT I THINK IS UNMARKED AT GREENLAWN CEMETERY. I HAVE BEEN DOING FAMILY RESEARCH WITH A COUPLE OF THE DAY GIRLS THAT LIVED A COUPLE OF HOUSES FROM THE CEMETERY AND PLAYED THERE AS CHILDREN. THE GRAVE WE ARE LOOKING FOR IS WILLIAM PHIPPS HE WAS MARRIED TO A RELATIVE OF OURS AND SHOT HIS WIFE IN WAYZATA IN 1912 HER NAME WAS HELEN JARDINE PHIPPS. SHE IS BURIED AT PARKERS LAKE CEMETERY. I FOUND A NEWS ARTICLE THAT SAID WILLIAM PHIPPS WAS CARRIED FROM THE VILLAGE HALL TO THE WAYZATA CEMETERY WHERE IT WAS INTERRED.
ANY INFORMATION YOU CAN PROVIDE WOULD BE HELPFULL

I thought you might be interested in an Almon Bennett in Oakwood. The cemetery record lists an Almon Bennett, plot 2nd-20-40,6 with a burial date of 5 Dec 1905. Age is 85 years, so birth would be about 1820. This might be your person. The names are two similar to be mistaken.

I noticed that you contributed a portrait of Metta to the Find A Grave site for West Lisbon Cemetery. Metta was my great-great grandmother on my mothers side. I am interested as to where the portrait originated. I have photographs of both Metta and Rasmus Jacobson Dahlen in their later years. I am willing to exchange any information that I have for information concerning the Dahlens and their descendants.
