I became obsessed with genealogy in about 1995. It is a never ending hobby and a lot of fun. I love tromping around old cemeteries in hunt of my ancestors and helping others when I can. |
I am lucky enough to have my friend Debbie who also enjoys this hobby. Together we have been able to document several cemeteries and are enjoying doing so.
Debbie and I are pleased to announce that we are the County Keepers for Rowan County, North Carolina Find A Grave.
If you should want a memorial transferred to you please do not hesitate to ask. We are glad to transfer. Also, if you know of any links we should make to other memorials, please feel free to let us know that as well. Please be sure to specify if it is a husband, mother or father. And lastly, if you would like a copy of the original photo we are glad to send that as JPG attachment to your e-mail. Just make sure we have the complete name and dates and cemetery of the person, or their memorial number.

|Julie Nagle Maranto||RE: Borski|
I thought I was on the right track with this family member but it turns out I had the wrong name. Sorry to bother you!!
|Julie Nagle Maranto||Borski|
Wondering if John and Marie Borski also had a daughter named Joan? I only see Loretta listed. Thanks so much!
These Faith Baptist Memorials seem to be duplicates. One entry has a photo and the other has relationships
Perhaps ya'all could get together and combine the two?

|Ken Mitchell||RE: Sarah Ellen Foster Carter Rattz|
Thanks so much for the confirmation.
I originally thought the two Rattz markers were the same but reported to be located in 2 different cemeteries. Further review led me to the conclusion that the markers were, indeed, slightly different in structure. I further concluded that Hiram was buried at Fork and his spouse Sarah remarried William Carter and ended up being buried along with her son Junie from her first marriage at St. Peters. Your bio in Sarah's Find A Grave entry led me astray a bit also since the order of spouses was reversed.
I think I have it all straight in my mind now.

I added the news article to his page. Thank you for sharing it with me. Are you related to David in some way? Just curious.

Thank you so much. I need to plan a trip to Gold Hill and Rockwell to see my relatives (Brady) final resting place.

You're welcome. Thanks for posting it. There is so much info to be found in the newspapers the contribute to their memorials. I am happy to have added to his memory.
