Thank you so much to the volunteers who not only list the information but also provide a photograph of the stones.|
I'm 12th Generation American, directly decended from Thomas Chaffee (1635) and as such the Chaffee's and allied families are my interest.
The faq's are an amazing repository of information for FAG. You'll also learn a lot from the forums as well.
Do Not request transfers/corrections here they will be deleted. Please use the SAC feature by clicking the edit tab on the memorial needing correction.
To add an internal link in the biography, you would need to type
< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>
(I put this here because I use it frequently and am tired of digging for it in the FAQ.)
Thanks to DaurRegt (#47891223) for the idea on putting the link on the profile.

Thank you for adding a photo to a memorial that I created. I am curious though as to where you found the photo and if you are related somehow. Is there proof this really is a photo of David Cross?
|Jim Strawbridge||Rosa Mary RAPP|
You manage the file re Rosa Mary Rapp, US Army nurse who used to be buried in Etretat Cemetery, Le Havre, France. She died on the 4th October 1918. The problem is that, like many US personnel, her body was disinterred and shipped back to the USA for burial locally to their home. Rosa Mary Rapp is now in Saint Michael Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson County; Kentucky and someone else has raised an entry for her there. She is therefore recorded under Find A Grave Memorial# 134804110 and so please consider deleting your entry.

|Christos Anesti||My Relatives|
I am a relative of two of your memorials:
- Anastasia Kozarewicz (Faryniuk) (1891 - 1981)
- August Kozarewicz (1884 - 1964)
My great-great grandmother named "Anna Faryniuk" who lived and died in Ukraine was the sister of Anastasia. Would it be okay to transfer the management of these two profiles to me? :)
Thanks if you can!

Hi, My name is Brian Stevens. Charles Pratt was my great grandfather. Thank you so much for his photo. Would you believe that my brother Mark looks exactly like Charles!!? Would you have any further info about Charles?

Hello, I am one of his relatives and was surprised to see you posted a photograph of him because I have an (maybe THE) original. Did you locate the copy you posted somewhere on the internet? Many thanks for creating a nice page entry for him.
|E Jenkins||Margaret Varney # 54223283|
This is an empty plot. The cemetery only has records of Margaret purchasing the plot in 1890 when her brother in law C. W. Varney ( 54223282) passed from stomach cancer. CW (Clarence) left his wife bankrupt. EVERYTHING sold to pay off creditors. The extra plot was for Clarence's wife, but she remarried and is buried else where. Margaret was the wife of Clarence's brother Bethuel Varney. Her name was actually Nancy Margaret Sherman Varney ( # 35559360) , but census reports show her using the name Margaret. The cemetery has confirmed this plot is empty, that they have no record of a burial of a Margaret Varney. Clarences wife's name was Evaline, my GGGrandmother. Its an interesting story, and correct. I of course, wanted to know who was buried next to Clarence and did extensive research.
|Ancestor Hunter||Thank You|
Thank you for deleting your memorial, you did not have to do that since mine was the duplicate but I do appreciate it.
Do you by chance still have his burial information? I had not yet gotten that information for him. I will of course credit you for providing it. I had been unable to find out what happened to him, being the eldest of eight brothers and moving far away like he did.
