Bio and Links
Bio Photo Involved in family research for 15+ years. Have researched over 20 family trees for my immediate family, friends and relatives. Most of my research has been concentrated on families in New York, primarily, Orange County. We have completed entry of four entire cemeteries, St. Mary's in Montgomery , Orange County ,New York, Vails Gate Cemetery in New Windsor, Orange County, New York, Gardnertown Cemetery in Newburgh, Orange County, New York and St. Mary's Cemetery in Marlboro, Ulster County, New York.

Since retirement, my husband and I enjoy genealogy. We both agree that a wonderful way to honor the memories of those who came before us, is to record their history, which includes where they were laid to rest. We reference any records we can locate to insure the information is as accurate as possible.

If, for any reason, someone would like a photo of a grave we have entered deleted, or wish to have the grave transferred to them for their management, you may contact us and we will certainly understand and comply with your wishes.

RE: Robert William Coyne, Jr.
Just want to be sure that I thanked you for your message, Nora. The newspaper was not able to help, nor was the Newburgh library despite their best efforts. However, with help from St. Mary's priest, I was able to speak with Rich at the cemetery. He pulled the records and shared all the information and that from a subsequent burial at the site that was done without a marker. It took a bit more digging and quite a lot of luck but eventually I was able to find Bob, Jr.'s sons in the town next to the one in which I grew up, of all places! Fortunately, all three have working land lines with message machines so we've able to connect. They were amazed to learn that they have 14 first-cousins-once-removed, most of whom are still here in Maine, where their collective great-grandparents started the family. Kind of long message for just saying thanks, but I do appreciate your earlier help. Jo

Robert William Coyne, Jr.
Nora - Thank you so much for providing the photo of this family cousin's gravestone (136806373) in St. Mary's Cemetery! Sounds like you're from the Orange Co. area. Would you have any suggestions how I might find his obituary? I believe he was living in Newburgh when he died back in 1972. I'm trying to track down his widow and sons. I don't know her maiden name and she may very well have remarried as Bob was only 36 when he died. I don't know the sons' names either, though one of them likely is/was Robert William Coyne III. I'm hoping his obituary might yield some clues. Thanks for any advice you can offer and thanks again very much for posting the photo. Jo Coyne
