Margaret/Mary Layton Hunt
Hi Kathy

I found Margaret Layton Hunt in the update list from PHGS; I've removed Mary Hunt's memorial and added the lot info to Margaret, who was married to Earl according to Dick Allen's list.

Ruth Waterman
Hi Kathy

I did a search of 'Ruth' in Allegany Cemetery, came up with 46 of them, but none died in 1998. She's also not listed in the non-Dick Allen Allegany list on PGHS, so I think she needs a memorial. Also couldn't find her in SSDI on Ancestry, but that's not unusual if they didn't have children.

Thanks for the info. I did add the connection. I did not find the family in NY census but did find them in PA. several of the children are still missing. Thanks again

Thank you for leaving a photo of Greg's headstone at the memorial page. I haven't been to the cemetery lately and meant to do so.

RE: Eunce Davis/Minnie Cook headstone
That is the place. The graves were not moved. A very disrespectful person who once owned the adjoining property tore out the stones, threw most of them in the creek and "annexed" the cemetery. Some of the stones remained in a garage until a few years ago. I'm not sure where they are now. I'm thinking of stopping to ask the current owner if he or she still has them.

RE: Eunce Davis/Minnie Cook headstone
Yes, I am related to the Talbots. Fred Turner (the carver of the by headstone) had a sister, Nora, who was married to William Talbot. Unfortunately, the little Peth cemetery where some of the family was buried has been destroyed.

Eunce Davis/Minnie Cook headstone
Thanks for the pic. It was hand-carved by my great grandfather, Fred Turner. Eunice was grandmother. Still trying to figure out who Minnie was.
