Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing Find-a-Grave for a while now and have decided to change my bio a bit.

Here are my thoughts on this stuff.

Relax..enjoy what you're doing otherwise you should stop before you get too far into it. No man is an island and this certainly can't be done alone. Rather than complain about someone's them with it.

TRANSFERS: In most cases I'll transfer any memorial that isn't listed in my family surnames. I transfer on a case by case decision. I don't have issues with the number of generations. If I've transferred a memorial to you, please be sure you can maintain it or make the changes that others request. If for any reason, you can't maintain the memorials I've transferred to you, I'll be more than happy to take it back. ..please don't ask for a transfer of memorials and then become an inactive member, and have all your memorials go stagnant...TRANSFER THEM BACK OR TRANSFER THEM TO SOMEONE WHO CAN MAINTAIN THEM.

PICTURES: If I've taken a picture or attached a document ... please help need to give me credit. I don't need to toot my horn or have it tooted. I've added them to the memorials for everyone to use. If you want to attach a picture to my memorials that are better than mine...please do so. I welcome them, but keep in mind I might use them in if they're in my family tree....thanks again in advance.

EDITS: If there are errors in any of the memorials that I've entered please let me know. I'll be glad to correct them as well as make any changes necessary. PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON.

FLOWERS: PLEASE PLEASE don't use the flower section as a place to add a bio for the memorial...that isn't where it belongs. If I happen to come across one on a memorial that I've created, I will ask you to remove it. I'll gladly add it to the bio...just send me an EDIT. If it isn't deleted in a timely amount of time I will ask to remove it.

DUPLICATES: Duplicates's impossible not to happen. We've all created duplicates. If you've created a duplicate, please don't ignore the courteous request to delete them. I will gladly delete mine. If you don't delete your duplicate within a reasonable amount of time, I will ask to do so.

It's hard for me to understand that these memorials belong to any one person....I believe they belong to "all" of us.

A sincere THANK YOU to all the Find a grave volunteers for all the hard work, help and dedication that you've given me.

Pearl Willey #120952133
Hi Connie,
Could you please delete this memorial as Pearl is not dead. She just commented on Bailey's FH website on Janet Willey's obit (died in March 2015), if you need proof she is alive.

It really creeps me out to see memorials for living people... like it's gonna jinx them. lol

Connie I want to personally say thanks for all you have done for others through your work with Find A Grave. You are helping others EVERY DAY.
I thank you and ask God's blessings on you for giving to others so generously. You are helping those of us who can't help themselves. I have been on my genealogy journey since the 80's and am still working. I used to be able to visit cemeteries but can no longer do so. It means so much to me to be able to go on line and SEE the graves of my family. I know you don't mind my copying you photos because of your generous offer. Thanks to you I will have photos to add to my Ancestry and Family Tree Maker family files I am trying to get on Ancestry for my descendants and others to see their heritage.
Again many thanks,
Eleanor Morrison Lawson (

Morancy graves in Northumberland
Hi Connie,
I changed Frank's birth year to match the stone because I can't find a birth record for him, but most the other people on that stone are messed up. Their dates don't match their birth and death dates so I have noted that in their bios and decided not to change them to match the stone. All of those dates must have been put there after the fact and gotten wrong.

Marie Labranche Beaulac
Doh. Beats head against wall. I did look at the top of the column, but not under the 2 column story. I had apparently already had her husband's name, got her children's names from the censuses, and the daughters marriages. I guess I will see if they are listed in find a grave. The step children would be Uncle Alec's children.

However, I had once been able to search the Google news archive, then all of a sudden it seemed to be gone, but working with your url, I was able to find it again :)

I really should check out this Ferdinand Beaudoin, and see if he is related on my father's side.

Thank you for the obituary reference. Even though it was cut off short, it gives me enough info to look further. Since I know she was in Berlin, I can find out the name of her husband and of her other daughter through a census search.

findagrave Abner Norcott Jr.
Hi Connie,

Sorry about hitting the enter button before. I only wanted to say thanks for connecting Abner Norcott Jr. with Abner Norcott Sr. It is so great to see the whole family together, because they all were so hard to find.

Best wishes,
Dorothy Dreher

John & olive Osgood, Thanks very much for the great photos of their grave markers. Also thank you for identifying the location of Olive's grave, as all I knew was that she was cremated.

RE: Marie Couture Drouin/Trudeau
lol it is like detective work... and it is all the time. I couldn't become an archeologist like I wanted so now I found another way to uncover secrets of the past... I just don't get to enter the tombs or graves. lol

Thank you, Connie. I heard that they had just replayed that interview on tv. That month in Iceland with Emma Watson and Russell Crowe was an unbelievable experience for her. Russell is amazing with the kids and is nothing like Hollywood press makes him out to be. He just doesn't tolerate idiots... so I kind of agree with him on that. lol

Right now they are making a short film she wrote and is directing about bullying "Frenemy". It will be shown in schools across the country to try to educate kids about the problem of bullying. I'm amazed at the people involved in this project. And even more amazed at my little 12-yr old granddaughter. lol Okay... off the Nonnie soapbox now. :)

Marie Couture Drouin/Trudeau
Thanks for doing the edits on Marie. I finally found her 2nd husband's death and got him entered in the right cemetery with his 1st wife and kids. Of course I didn't find his data until after I found and made memorials for almost his entire family. lol

I linked him to your memorial for Marie.
