Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please consider as your property any photographs I've taken to fulfill your Find-A-Grave request. I often take extra photos and then generate virtual memorials to post them. I'm happy to transfer management of these upon request. If for any reason you don't like a photo I've taken, tell me why and ask me to do it again! I am a hobby genealogist and volunteer my efforts to this website in order to contribute . . . not to compete.

I have learned that each Find-a-Grave contributor (or website visitor) can be described as falling on a scale of two extremes. On one end we have The Data People and on the other end are The Memorial People. The Data People see the website as pure data provided to help descendants and family researchers. The Memorial People see each webpage as a tribute and a sacred and solemn online place to visit.

Sometimes the preferences between these contributors clash. For example, the Data People might take thousands photos (looking down on a marker) in a relatively short time, while the Memorial People take their time and obtain far fewer photographs but with high quality, neat perspectives, and colorful lighting, horizon, or vegetation in the background. The Data People understand that the website visitor wants the information. The Memorial People understand that the website visitor wants to visit the grave site of their loved one without having to drive across the country.

If we keep in mind that both types of contributors are valuable and needed, then we are prepared to prevent a clash when we meet our opposite.

As a volunteer photographer (a contributor), I am a Memorial Person. As a hobby genealogist (a researcher), I am a Data Person when seeking to expand the known boundaries of my family tree.

Find A Grave Memorial# 52477130, Roman Sibilski, Air Corp Veteran

I am a grandson of a former CBI Air Corps veteran. I'm assembling a data base and website to honor the efforts of the men of the 7th Bomb Group. Mr. Sibilski's name is among over 5,700 that I've compiled over the past nearly four years. I found this memorial and would like to know if you or your family would be interested in sharing copies of any other photos that you might have of Mr. Sibilski that are related to his service in the CBI. I'd also appreciate copies of any of the documents mentioned in your fine remembrance of your Great Uncle. I'd like to add him to the pages of those for whom I've gathered more than general information.
My website is I hope that you will consider assisting me with my endeavor, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Michael Hernandez

I appreciate your patient-ness. I'm on an inventory and I shoot 150-300 photos a day. Can't dwawddle too much.

One horizontal stone photo, I had to brush flour in the name groves to make the name show. The date showed up just fine without flour.

Thanks again for being an active dude within Find A Grave.

Thanks for fulfilling Joyce Mealers photo request. And what an impressive stone that was!

Her husband Johnnie retired from the AF in 1982 as a CMSgt. And the youngest son Terry and I have been friends since 1977.

Photo of Ella Mae Martin
Thank you for the photo of Ella Mae's headstone. She was my grandmother's sister and never married. It is great to have this remembrance of her.

Blessings to you and the work you do for others.

RE: Hodges Council
Thank you so much for your kind reply and I appreciate all the information and work you are doing.

I am not sure why my email address gave you that reply because I have had it for many years but then computers can do strange things.

Any information that you find will be much appreciated. I know some of the information that comes through Ancestry is mixed up because of the Senior and Junior as well.

Thanks again,
