Bio Photo 'The unexamined life is not worth living'.

The memorials that I have created here on Find A Grave are those of my family, only. I do not list grave locations of strangers.

Please do not 'lift' 'copy' or take or steal any of my personal photos from my memorials, as they are copyrighted by me. Please do not add additional photos of any sort to my families memorials without my permission.

The headstone and monument photos that I have added to Evergreen, Olivewood, and Riverside National Cemeteries, are yours to take and add to your trees, as this is the sole purpose of my documenting these cemeteries, only to help others.

'And how can the dead, be truly dead, when they live on in the souls of those who are left behind?'

Yes, something of the surrounding area. I can't believe one of the founding fathers of Riverside is just stuck out in the middle of nowhere.

Evergreen Cemetery
Mystery Solved.

Like you, I spent two hours wading through weeds and thorns looking for Floyd and Alice Snyder over the weekend. I went back today and talking with the older grounds keeper, He reminded me that last year we found some 100 series markers behind the crematorium at the West side of Upper 5. So I looked there and found them. I posted several photo's to give you an idea if you look them up.
Thought I would let you know in case you run into any future plots that are in this area.

Take care and talk soon.

RE: Herman C. Hanson
You know, I got the information early on in my research when I was not that meticulous about adding sources in my database. I will put an "NC" in the database for "not confirmed." Did you know there is a beautiful little biography about Herman on Ancestry? As to your related question: No, not related except that Amelia Hanson married a Cuddeback and her daughter Lillie Fay married a cousin of mine :-)

RE: Eliza Ward
Thanks for the offer to look Eliza up, but it's not necessary. I have let my Ancestry membership temporarily lapse but will reinstate it in a couple of months. I think I know who Eliza is and was looking for confirmation from you. I believe she is an extended relative of mine and Ward was her second husband's name. When or if I find out more, I'll edit her memorial.

Thanks for your help.

Since you contributed a grave photo to this memorial, I was wondering if you have any information about Eliza?

Thank you,

RE: Mary Ellis
Thank you very much for Mary's photo. Evergreen is where my Clopton (maternal) side is located. There are at least two more memorials I need to research and create.

RE: Ellis
Thank you very much for the photo for William H. Ellis. I know exactly what you had to go through. My last photo that I took, I had to dig down 3-4 inches under the grass and dirty to find the marker and this was in a maintained cemetery. That's why I carry a full tool box of small shovels, a grass clipper and probes.

I have created a memorial for his wife, Mary. It is memorial # 150665037. I'll do a request in a moment.

Thanks again
