I have been researching my line for about 5 years now and I have been helped by so many wonderful researchers. I am currently submitting all those interned in the Beauvais - Decker Catholic Cemetery in Polson, MT in hopes many will find their lost ancestors. This is the Old Catholic Cemetery that was renamed. There are may Indian ancestors buried here.

I have been wanting to do this for a long time. It is still a project in progress so if you don't find your relatives right now you may find them a little later. After I walked the cemetery I learned there are more people that have been interned that do not have any markers. I will be listing the ones that do not have markers and I will mark them in the Inscription area under Notes: NO GRAVE MARKER.

Benjamin Ducharme
While researching his parents (Jean Baptiste Ducharme and Catherine Hu (aka Paul)) I came across the following concerning his birth date:
"The 18 December 1857, we undersigned have baptized Benjamin, born yesterday of the legitimate marriage of Baptiste Ducharme and Catherine Paul of this place. Godfather Andre Lonetain. Godmother Julie Tete Plate (Flathead) [signed] M. O' Reilly, Priest"

Harriet Duncan Munnick, "Catholic Church Records of the Pacific Northwest: St. Paul, Oregon 1839-1898," (Portland : Binford & Mort, 1979); Volume II, p. 90, B[aptism]-28

RE: Transfer Please
Please send all transfer requests through the memorial page via the edit tab, please. I do not know who you were talking about, you didn't give a name nor a memorial number...

Abraham Sipes
Yes, I am a relative of Abraham Sipes. My line is from his son Jacob, and then his son Jacob Newborn. My great grandmother is a daughter of Jacob Newborn Sipes. Do you have any information on Abraham Sipes burial location?

RE: John Davis
Sorry, I don't have any information for you. But the Newberry Library is full of genealogy books and if you call they will be happy to help you with your search. When you call ask for the Sam he is the director. He is very interested in Genealogy and doesn't mind looking for things. Another site you might check out if if nothing is there go to Newberry is a very good part of that site. Both are free sites and you may find something there. You might also try If you belong to that is also a great place to look. I hope that his helpful. Thanks for your inquirey.

RE: Alphonsine McIntyre Nordgren
Hi - I'm glad you found the problem. Please take as long as you need to fix it. I'm not related in any way. I just happened to notice it while looking for a different McIntyre and thought you'd want to know about there being two memorials for the one person. It sounded like you may have been seeking some information that was posted on the other memorial. Sharon

RE: Alphonsine McIntyre Nordgren
When you bring up that memorial page, look to the left side of screen where it says you can click on a link to find all of the McIntyre in that cemetery. When you do that, you'll see that there are two memorials for this person. I imagine the name was a little different on each memorial for that to happen, but it appeared to be the same person.

RE: Elizabeth Wilson Enyeart
We're talkingtwo different Elizabeth's here. The one that is buried in Union Cemetery is in Makelesburg, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. She died 12 August 1860. She married William Enyeart. The one you are talking about is buried in Poulson, Montana. She died 27 December 1916. This one married Thomas Enyeart. Sorry about the confusion.
