The photo is difficult for me to read on its right part. Would you know what the word beyond Phoebe might be? Thank you.

|Linda Lyons||Clara Lackner|
My late mother used to talk about "Aunt Clara" and here she is. In the picture she looks very much like her nieces at the same age.

Bob--I also notice that you posted a newspaper article about the death of John Lackner (1851-1915). Why were you interested enough in him to do this? You probably know that he was Joseph Kaske's son-in-law. He was also my great-grandfather. I'd be interested to hear from you about him.
You probably know that he was a silversmith per the US census from 1870 - 1910. Family tradition says at Tiffany's.

Bob--I just found your posting re Joseph Kaske. I am wondering about the sources of the information about him which you included? Where did the Leipzig birth location come from? Following in the census for him and his wife, they list Germany/Prussia/Breslau which is in Prussia, then in Germany, now in Poland. Leipzig isn't in Prussia. Linda at LyonsLW@aol.com

Thank you so much for getting me photos of my relatives graves. I do appricate it so much. There are 3 more Torreys buried in the same plot.
Austin, Arthur and Carrie. Did you happen to see their graves?
Thank you, Norma

Thank you Bob. I did add the plot information. If you do go there, would you look for Julia, Francis and Carrie, buried in the same plots. Last name and relationship unknown. Maybe infant children, we are unaware of. Caretaker told me they were on the plots with Austin and son Arthur Torrey.

I was wondering if you are able to fullfill photo request at the Clinton Cemetery?
I did send a note to the address listed for the cemetery about the plot information and was given information that they are in Section 2, lot 92-93. There is also a Julia, Francis and Carrie, which are probably family members, but I dont know how they are related. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Norma Jones

Thanks, Bob. I made a couple of phone calls, and I'm assured that it is the right cemetery. Guess I can go ahead and add the people whose dates I have.

I see that you added the map for Clinton Cemetery in Irvington. I've been told that some of my relatives are buried in "Clinton Hill" Cemetery in Irvington, and have found one old reference to a "Clinton Hill" cemetery. Do you know if they are the same cemetery?
Thanks for any help.

|Kathryn Hill||findagrave - Grove Church Cemetery|
Hi. I hope you won't mind my writing, especially since we're not acquainted.
I have ancestors buried in Grove Church cemetery and, though I know the lot numbers, I've been unable for twenty years now, to find out more concerning the family. I don't know if you live close to the cemetery, but I see you have submitted some volunteer photos.
Do you know anyone who does live close and who might be interested in taking headstone photos for me? Any help /suggestions you have would be much, much appreciated.
Sincerely - Kathy Hill
