Since my husband John helps me in my Find a Grave treks, I have included him in the photo. It was taken on our 50th wedding anniversary.|
Feel free to use any of my photos. It is not necessary to give me credit.

You were right....I had assigned the wrong parents. They were Milton & Emma, just as you suspected. Confirmed with the obituary.
Jacob is in crypt 171 in the old mausoleum in Section M. That is kept locked so at this time I am just posting a picture of the building. Getting in there is not as easy as you might expect but I will see what I can do. Certain members of the cemetery staff are not that cooperative.

His name was Hubbird in the 1900 census, from what I can tell. Are you related to him? I will continue to search to see what I can find.

I have petitioned Find A Grave to delete the memorial that I manage. It makes sense since yours has the picture. Please correct the spelling of the last name to be Hubbird.

You sure can us the pictures. I have more....Just doesn't seem to be enough time in a day to get anything done. I have pictures of people, that I have no idea who they are. Maybe you can help. One day when I find the time to scan them I will email them to you.

Thank you and you are welcome!

I'm sure you are right about Mary Ruby Hubbard McCoy Alltop. I didn't think I'd be able to solve this mystery. The article sure was misleading. I'm going to see if I can find Ruby McCoy's tel # and call her and let her know I solved the mystery. I should have listened to her when she said the name of her aunt was Ruby.
Don't you love it when you solve a mystery? Thanks for your help.

My pleasure. Sorry I didn't have any luck.

We are going done Saturday. The caretaker is putting yellow ribbons at his grave site. When we get back I will add it to the memorial I made for him. Sandi
