Please take a moment to leave a flower for Mom, Shannon Howard.|
I do my genealogy to honor my mother. She was very interested in our family history, both her own as well as my dad's side. She was always trying to peak my interest, to no avail. About a year after she passed away I was going through some of her papers and I was bitten by the bug.
My main interests are with the Kamery, Fahey, Howard, Hyde, Chrisman, Hill and John families of Nebraska, Missouri, Virginia and Olean/Hinsdale, New York. I have a special interest in Madison Square Cemetery in Loup County west of Taylor, Nebraska.
If you are interested in an original copy of any picture I've posted please contact me and I'll be happy to forward it to you.

It seems she was married twice. 1st to C.E. Martin and then to Albert Mikkelsen. I believe her marker is in CA.
Maxwell Cemetery, Maxwell, Colusa County, CA
To add to all the confusion there is an entry for her under #140659610 also.
After Jennie's death, her brother James' widow married Jennie's widowed husband. Sounds like a soap opera, huh?

Walking the Past:
Hello my friend. I have not contacted you for
awhile. Hope this finds you well and happy.
Just wanted to let you know that I posted a photo and short obit that appeared in a newspaper for above. I found it in an OLD scrapbook of my Mother's. My mother went to school with a few Daily's in the sandhills. Not this Daily, but Verne and Lloyd Daily.
If you don't want this on your memorial, just let me know and I will delete it.
If you decide to keep it, you may want to switch the gravestone so that it is at the top.

My family records for Samuel W. Brown buried in East Union Cemetery, Union, Cass County, Nebraska show that he was born May 1, 1872. The headstone shows that he lived 1 year and 17 days. I believe if you look closely you will see the death year should be 1873 rather than 1879. Thank you so much for adding these people and posting pictures. It is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
|MrsB||Sylvaneus Richard Stotts transfer|
Thank you so very much for the transfer! I did some looking around on the National Archives, and learned a bit more about him and his family, and even about the nearby town where he was born. I sent you some edits for them based on what I found.

Thank you for posting the death notice for Carrie. While I appreciate the information, I have transcribed it to her biography since by Find A Grave guidelines, obituaries are not to be posted to the area reserved for photos. Please remove it.
|Jeana||Mary McLennon At Evergreen Cemetery|
I am a cousin of Mary McLennan, buried with her father George McLennan at Evergreen Cemetery. Mary was George's daughter, born in July 1934, died December 17, 1934 of an illness. George shot himself in the temple on the anniversary of Mary's death. His wife, Mae Rusk, re-married to David Hulshizer and moved to Wyoming. She is buried in Wyoming.
Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for posting the obituary for Fred (#46522273) and especially for the citation. I've been looking for his death for several years. His wife, Caroline or Carrie Mallory is a McNall descendant. She is also the 2nd ggdaughter of Nathan Washburn who served in the Revolution at Valley Forge and has two Mayflower ancestors.
