Please take a moment to leave a flower for Mom, Shannon Howard.|
I do my genealogy to honor my mother. She was very interested in our family history, both her own as well as my dad's side. She was always trying to peak my interest, to no avail. About a year after she passed away I was going through some of her papers and I was bitten by the bug.
My main interests are with the Kamery, Fahey, Howard, Hyde, Chrisman, Hill and John families of Nebraska, Missouri, Virginia and Olean/Hinsdale, New York. I have a special interest in Madison Square Cemetery in Loup County west of Taylor, Nebraska.
If you are interested in an original copy of any picture I've posted please contact me and I'll be happy to forward it to you.

Wanted to say thanks for finding this one. He would have been my maternal grandfather's older brother (Ralph Ted Hiner). My mother has been helping me with this project and she had no idea about him. Can you tell me how you found him? Are you a relative?
You can reach me here as Kchara or my email is
K_chara@yahoo.com . Again, thanks for the new info.

We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Your welcome. I live in Sterling, about 4 hours from North Platte. Don't know if we are related or not. Denise
|Larry Dunn||Hillsdale Cemetery|
Just ran across a post of nearly a year ago by you about the difficulties with Mr. Lundy who owns the land the Hillsdale Cemetery is located on. I used to go up to Hillsdale twice a year and clean/mow as much as we could until my health and age slowed me down :-) Anyway, bottom line is Lundy cannot deny you access to the cemetery.
Thanks for all the work you have done on Find A Grave!
