Bio and Links
Hi - We were born in Central Missouri. Most of our ancestors settled here around the civil war, some before and a few right afterwards. We are doing family research to leave something for those that come after us. Thank you all for any and all help you provide. If there is something we can help you with please let us know.

Many Thanks,
The Shinn Family

RE: Daniel T Cole/James Morton
They were already married, and she was pregnant with Seth, their second son when this took place, just FYI...

Daniel T Cole/James Morton
http;//genforum.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/print.cgi?mo/saintcharles;;215.html

"By the 1860 census Daniel is gone"
"I have been told that while Eliza was pregnant with Seth, who was born in 1856, Daniel and Eliza's Father James, both very good with guns, they got into a fight and daniel accidentally(?) shot and killed James Morton, he took off, and was never heard from or spoken about again. "
This is just 1 of many accounts, BUT they all say the same thing.

Eliza Ann Alexander Morton Sharp
the memorial #7272440
you added a photo of the MODC#34416
This is absolutely NOT Eliza Ann Alexander
the death certificate plainly states that she was 49 years old, born in Dallas Co MO, and she had 2 brothers "somewhere"...
Eliza was in the 1910 Rogers Co OK census with her son Thomas J Sharp & family, she was 77 born in MO, and widowed, mother of 4 children with 4 living. I have contacted the contributor, but have not had a response yet...

try putting their names in a google.com search bar, a lot of info is out there you just have to dig for it...
