I am writing to request the transfer of Bonnie Filer. She is my grandmother's last living sibling. I would like to connect her with the rest of the sibling. Thanks! Dea

Glad to recieve your 2nd e-mail, about posting memorials after seeing how you post them it did not match up with your comments on what I was doing. My goal with this web site is to help some one researching their family tree maybe 50-100 years from now. The more info you can list would really help some one later. I would pay 1000 dollars for a photo of my GGGrandfather and I wouldn't care where it came from. Keep up the good work.

I wasn't able to find all the headstone and a lot of them might not exist. Some stones were moved to be cleaned by a different person years ago and not put back inside the fenced in area properly. A few stones broken. and for some reason 2 of the pictures I took came out small and almost unreadable - might be time for a new camera.
Anyway this small cemetery is on private property owned by a 70 year old couple who don't do any maintenance to it as there is no gate - you have to climb over a fence. As a result it's totally overgrown and in a area shaded with trees that have left years of layers of leaves on it that haven't been removed. It could use a days work with a weed whacker a shovel and a rake but I did my best.

You're very welcome. My older kids were in her school when it happened so when I saw the request I went right away to the cemetery. Sorry the lighting in the mausoleum was only natural light through the stained glass window so my shutter went very slow with no tripod. The plaque her fellow classmates put up is still at the Elementary school almost 20 years later so I took that photo too. Sorry for the loss of this precious little girl, your friends' child.

I'd be glad to get the photo you requested. Can you please tell me what section of the cemetery I can find her marker? Newcomers will not give out the marker location except to family, and Oak Lawn is a very big cemetery.

Would you please copy and paste the following obituary to the bio section of Richard Lee Lindstrom's memorial?
Please notify me when complete.
Richard Lee Lindstrom
Richard Lee Lindstrom, 32, Atchison, Kansas, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, surrounded by many close friends and family.
A visitation with the family will be held Sunday, August 11, 2013, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P. M. at the Arensberg- Pruett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shriner’s Children Hospital and may be left in care of the funeral home. The body will be cremated following the visitation with interment in Sumner Cemetery at a later date.
Richard was raised in Atchison, Kansas with parents Daniel and Mary Lindstrom and brothers Nicholas and Michael Lindstrom. Later, his family grew to include many members of the Kempin and Nelson families as well as many friends whom he recognized as family. Though he had no children on his own, children seemed to gravitate towards him. He was always there to help babysit and liked to make the kids laugh. Richard enjoyed his life, always finding the sunshine behind every cloud and leaving us all with memories of fun times and crazy adventures. He could irritate you one minute and have you laughing the next. Richard never knew how many lives he touched through his friendships. Years from now, we will continue to share stories of great memories made with him. Richard will forever live in our hearts.
Richard Lee Lindstrom born September 13, 1980. He is survived by his parents, Mary Lindstrom, Daniel and Debra Lindstrom, Robert L. and Angela Kempin, Jr., brothers, Nicholas Lindstrom, Michael Lindstrom and Jeffrey Nelson, Jr., maternal grandmother, Rosemary Nitz, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
