I live in Columbiana County in Northeastern Ohio. Since I started my family history research, I have been amazed at the unknown family members I have found so close to my home. I want to honor them by adding them to this site. Thank you to all who place flowers on their memorials.
NOTE: I am working closely with my cousin, Joseph Chaplow, and some of my entries are his family. Preference on transfers will go to him.
Researching: Felger, Naughton, Stanyard, Miller, Bailey, Lind, Sherry, Forney, Stallsmith, Hauptmann, Huch, VanFossan/VanFossen, Hull, Stump, Thoman, Baker, Hartje, & Rukenbrod (to name a few).
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE MY PERSONAL PHOTOS. Any other use or republishing of them is not permitted. It is a violation of FindaGrave guidelines. If you have an interest in someone, please email me. However, you may copy any headstone picture I've added for your own family tree use. The exception would be using my photos when creating a duplicated FindaGrave memorial. This is not allowed and is against the guidelines. A notation that I was the photographer would be appreciated, if only to assist others who may want to contact me about family. I've received a lot of help in obtaining family headstone pictures from other researchers and want to pay it forward. Thank you.
Please check the cemetery before you make an entry to avoid duplications. I welcome any corrections to information I have entered. Please use the suggest a correction tab on the individual memorial. It's easier for me that way.
Regarding transfers, please remember...just because you are related to someone doesn't mean someone else isn't. Please see F-A-G guidelines regarding transfers. *"The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."
I ask you to remember that the members of this site are volunteers, both for entries and photo requests. They spend time and money to do this out of a love of the past, to memorialize those who have gone before, and in remembrance of beloved family members. It requires cooperation and teamwork. If you don't like to do these things, I respectfully ask that you choose another hobby.

Debra: Thank you for the updated information for each of these two Memorials. I appreciate having the best information available.
I am not related to this family and would be most happy to transfer them to you if you are related to them. I feel family members should be maintained as much as possible by their own family.

So sorry to learn of your Mother's passing. Deepest condolences.
I just found Stuart McMunn Johnston's memorial and notice you connect. I also connect to a Johnston family, from southern Columbiana Co however, and not to Stuart. In any event, I recently purchased 25 photos on Ebay of the Stuart McMunn and Lillas Bee Hunter Johnston family, all from 1912 and 1913. They include a large family gathering as well as photos of Stuart, Lillas, Marion, Lyal, Clare and others that I'd like to give to an interested family member. I sent a note to Buckeyeangel on Ancestry who has posted several family documents, all of which seem to be private.
Please let me know.

Thanks - I figured he was inactive. Others I know of have also sent him edits with no replies either. He even has a filter/blocker on his email but even after "requesting" to be added to his email list there has been no response.
