Thank you so much, Jim for the grave marker photo for Melvin & Helen Madden!
It is very much appreciated!
|Stephanie Carpenter||Many Thanks|
Thank you so much for the photograph of the site of burial for my ancestor. I especially appreciate the detailed description of what probably happened to the site. You went the extra mile for me by checking cemetery records and for that also I'm truly grateful.
Thank you for the work that you do!

I created the cemetery, but for some reason I can not edit it at all. I have map locations and there is a website for it. Someone from Italy (I believe) was looking for another Consul and listed several people there, including three Heaps.
|Mark Maxwell||John & George Heap|
You may have noticed differences in dates and locations in the information I forwarded about John Heap, George's father. I am quite sure that your entry is the same George in John's bio. The differences probably arose from the letter of his sister, Mary Heap Welch, who was 10 years his junior and there is no indication at what time in her life the information was written.
Her list of George's children are:
1- John; 2-Joseph; 3-George; 4-Samuel; 5-Franklin; 6-Elizabeth; 7-Isabella; 8-Rebecca.
I have found two sources that put George's brother, Samuel Davies Heap in St. George's Cemetery in Tunis, with his wife Margaret (Porter) Heap and some offspring.

Thanks for posting Tom's marker.

105342933 I have additional information. Luther P Anderson was married to Martha Jane Basden. They had the following children: Melville (1858-1870), Eliza A (1861-7Apr 1935), Mary A (1862-1959), Libern Basden (7Jan1864-13Oct1918), and Albert P (25Dec 1865- 1866)
I found your link to the picture gravestone of a relative, Florence Edmiston, through ancestry.com. What a great surprise!
Thank you so much for posting that picture.

|Stephanie Carpenter||Thank You So Much|
Dear Jim, thank you for helping me connect with one of my loved ones. Even though he is long passed, I feel connected with him through the photograph of his place of rest. Words can't express the gratefulness I feel! You are doing such meaningful work! Thanks again, Stephanie
