Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in the study of genealogy, from my dad in 1993. Since then I have documented over one hundred thousand ancestors, aunts, uncles, and cousins. I have traveled all over western Europe and the United States, searching cemeteries, federal archives, court houses, genealogy libraries, church records and so forth. I've also retrieved from this site, thousands of gravesite photos & the priceless information found within. Thus I decided to submit some of my own, as a way to give back just a little for the benefits I've received. I hope you find my offerings useful. Richard Mann

RE: FRAZIER
Hi Richard. If I remember correctly, I did respond to your message from last year. But I'm not sure. . . My memory is kind of shot from then as I was experiencing respiratory failure and waiting for a lung transplant. Well, I got one! I haven't been working on genealogy for awhile, as I have been mending from the surgery. Am currently in AZ (TX center in Phoenix) but plan to return home to Parkville, MO in the Spring. We will be making a couple of trips up before moving back, too. Was hoping to make at least one NE football gamed this Fall, but alas it is not going to work out schedule-wise.

Anyway, my GG grandmother was Mary Ellen Frazier Bullis, daughter of Josiah. She and Royal Bullis had 6 children before they divorced. He married again and had 6 more children. She married a 2nd time (Murphy) but no more children. Wilbur Ellis Bulllis, my great, was her oldest child and the family lived in Humboldt, Richardson Co. NE. Her mother, Polly Harm Patton Frazier, was divorced from Josiah, and she too is in Humboldt Cem.

I grew up in NE (Born in Holdredge, grew up in Lincoln, Lived in Omaha for 15 years after college). Retired to north of KC, where we are in the middle of family ----Columbia MO, Manhattan KS, Omaha and Lincoln + and G.I., Kearney, and Norton KS - and that is just my side.

Anyway, this note is just to connect or re-connect from last year.

RE: Portsche
Richard, I am a 40 year veteran of railroading and I track railroaders for several reasons, one being I published one book on railroaders along with short stories and picutres of them when I can get them. if you would like to have Gary added to the list would you mind sharing some of his railroad history with me for my upcoming book? my first book (Trackin' The Past) you can see the cover on Amazon.com although they are out of print. also on my findagrave Bio page you can see the book cover. Just like to keep their memories and stories alive...thanks, hope this helps with your question. My email is jwiseman3013@aol.com...Mike

RE: FRAZIER
Sorry, no, I do not know how Arthur Frazier and the other Fraziers connect. I am not related to any of them.

RE: Nathan Beals, Lynchburg Cemetery
Yes, I will definitely keep that potential connection and mind and let you know of anything I find. Next step for me will be to document where the individual family members were during each census, etc. to see if I can pinpoint exactly when they moved to Nebraska.

RE: Nathan Beals, Lynchburg Cemetery
Hello again - I don't know of any connection to the Lynch family. Nathan's middle name may indeed be "Carter", but I haven't seen anything definite.

Several members of the family moved from Indiana to Richardson County after the Civil War. Daughter Mary Ann Maria (Beals) Moon and husband Silas; son Thomas J. and wife Sarah (Thompson); and son Seth W. and wife Sarah were all residents of the Humboldt area at one time. There may have been others.

Granddaughter Halcyon Hill is the only other family member that I can see from the listings of FindAGrave at Lynchburg cemetery.
