I have many ancestors from Fairfield, Knox, Licking, and Muskingum, Ohio counties. I am a descendant of Stephen Hopkins and Francis Cooke of the Mayflower, and a descendent of several patriots who were in the Revolutionary war. As a retired professor, I'm finding much more wonderful time to spend on genealogy! I have recently relocated to Tucson, Arizona, and want to start taking photos for people there, but there is a lot more land to cover! | |

 | picture Hi Patty. I accidentally added a photo to the Union Grove cemetery page. I tried to take it off, but can't... it tells me it is pending approval. I'm sorry. I'll remove it as soon as the site will allow me to do so. | | | Christine (Bronson) Pearce

 | Brokaw stones Hi, Patti Jane,
Findagrave didn't notify me that you had posted photographs of two of my ancestors John A. Brokaw and his wife Caroline in the Bangs Cemetery! So sorry for the delay, but I'm having a field day going through all my memorial pages and finding where folks had posted pictures and I never got notified.
Anyway, thanks a million! | | | dirk bailey
 | Sherman photos Hi Patti Jane,
Thank-you for the Sherman photos. I sure would like to hear about your expedition in more detail. I'd like to know about the other Shermans in that same cemetery. I'm assuming no markers. I'd love to see the bigger detail that findagrave doesn't seem to allow... would you please send me the digital images? dirkbailey@sbcglobal.net
Regards,

 | Elijah Harrod, Union Grove Cemetery This Elijah Harrod is the son of Levi (1750-1825)and Rachel Mills, both buried same cemetery. His birthdate is 18 Jan 1815, his death according to the picture you kindly placed online was 10 Nov 1871, so he was 56 years, 9 months, and 23 days old (as on stone). I am a half first cousin 7 times removed to Elijah and one of the leading living Harrod genealogists since the death of Helynn Carrier, whose work I now continue with others. Are you related to the Harrods or their many families by marriage such as Miner/Minor, Burge/s, etc.? | | | Melanie Tucker
 | Thank you! I just noticed all the photos you took of the Hollisters at Hollister Cemetery. Thank you so much! These are all my family, and it is such a treat to have them.

 | Thank you Thank you for taking your time to visit this cemetery for me. I am so excited to see the picture of this headstone. I am living in Texas and maybe someday I can get to Ohio. You are awesome -- thanks - JeanAdded by JDB on Mar 22, 2009 11:53 AM | | | | [View all messages...] |
