|Genealogy is my passion and I enjoy helping others out when I can. I usually head out to a cemetery with a specific mission in mind (fulfilling a claim) and along the way I find myself snapping photos of other headstones. So if I have created a memorial for your relative just let me know and I will transfer the management to you.|

Thanks for the transfer and for your very nice photograph of the marker. I have now verified that he was born and died in Catskill.
|Simply Me||Emma Criffing Austin|
There are 2 Emma Criffing Austin's listed in Catskill. One is yours and the other is a listing for a Emma Griffing Austin. One is in Town of Catskill Cemetery and one is listed in the Catskill Village Cemetery. Both memorials have the same dates.
Neither memorial have a photo of headstone so it is difficult to decide which is correct.
Your memorial is # 103880724
The other memorial is # 28840471
I was just pointing out a duplicate. I do not know any thing other than that.
I am sorry to have bothered you. I was just trying for accuracy. Perhaps the other contributor will know more.

I checked with MSM's office today. They advised me that they have a John Colvin in their records but with a 1924 DoD. They do not have a location recorded.
However, while I was driving around the cemetery, I came across and grave for John Charles Colvin Apr. 22, 1941-Aug. 3, 2007.... A relative perhaps??
I snapped a pic if you want it.
