I became interested in genealogy and finding my roots many years ago. In 2005, I began working for a company that has several cemeteries located near it. Weather permitting, I started going out during my lunch hour and visiting these cemeteries and taking pictures. I then discovered the MI Tombstone Project were I could upload my photos and help others locate their ancestors.
I've been trying to add my photos onto Find-A-Grave but it is a longer process trying to upload to two different sites. I have faith that I will eventually get it done. Somewhere along the way I also became Michigan's Ingham County Keeper for Find A Grave. If you find one of my photos on MI Tombstone Project, please let me know and I will upload it to FAG.
If you happen to stumble upon any Vance, Kaloz, Torok, Meehan, Cosgriff, Quinlans, Davarns, McVeigh I'd love to hear from you.
Note: If you find a photo that I took click on that photo and you will see my notes. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find other ancestors that you didn't know about based on my comments.
Please read the Help with Find A Grave link before requesting transers. I'm pretty good about fulfilling requests outside of the "direct relatives within four generations" rule. I believe the memorials are in better hands with family and/or a descendant than with myself that is a stranger to the family history. Plus, I have discovered that it is easier for "living" relatives to find you if you are the manager of the memorial. However, if you demand the request versus asking politely and if you don't state your relationship you will not receive the memorial.
Terri Find A Grave's Ingham County Keeper, Michigan
She is in the wrong cemetery. I enlarged the pictures and could see they were the same monument at different angles and several years a part. The Questers did the same. They have the cemetery records and she is indeed in North Stockbridge with her husband. Her given name and then nickname being on that memorial there and the last name spelled without the space. You will need to delete her from Bunker Hill on find a grave but probably can just change her cemetery on the other site.

Harmon Thomas Cantrell Tried to sent via gmail, but message was returned. Not sure why. Wanted to let you know that Harmon Thomas Cantrell Find A Grave #33741850 was first married to Nettie Ella Ditch July 7, 1914 in Lewistown, Fergus County, Montana. Between 1920-1930 they moved from Montana to Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan. Harmon and Nettie separated and later divorced Nov. 13, 1943 in Ingham county, Michigan. Then he married Irma. The son you have linked Harmon W. Cantrell is the son of Harmon Thomas Cantrell & Nettie Ella Ditch, not Irma.
I have been been able to find a Nettie E. Cantrell in the directories up to the year 1956 in Lansing, Michigan, but then nothing. I know there is a Nettie Cantrell on Find A Grave 1008445449 but since this one is in Clinton County and Nettie lived in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan I do not know for sure.
I visited that cemetery recently and photographed some old markers. The date of birth inscribed on the marker in my photo was clearly Mar. 11, 1763. I did not upload my photo since there was one previously uploaded by someone else; the month is not quite as clear on that photo but the date and year are. That was my source. Perhaps you have better information and the marker is incorrect? My edit is a suggestion; use your discretion.
