Hello all. I've been researching my father's family since Dec 2009. Have found numerous previously unknown relatives, made genological on-line friends, and continue to learn more about researching.|
I'm researching my grandmothers family (SHAW) from PA/MD, stopping in OH and settling near St. Johns, MI around 1850. Also my grandfathers family (SADLOWSKI, later changed to Price) leaving Poland...eventually landing in Saginaw, MI in 1882.

Good Eye and great save. Thanks Kevin. Made the error when I was putting in Mary Lou's data on find a grave. Corrected there. My records were correct just a goof up. Thanks for helping out.

The people that you have listed as his parents is not correct. Would you please add following info to bio. His given surname at birth was Duralski. His parents died shortly after his birth. He was raised by Charles Comps and Francis Duralski Comps his mother's sister. He went to live with them shortly after his birth. He was never adopted but legally changed his years later.

Obits in CA are hit and miss since most newspapers charge a fee for publishing one (at least nowadays). You may want to try Gen-obit (@Rootsweb) to see if anyone on the list can find one for you. You may also want to see if there are archived copies of older newspapers from the area. Good luck!
|Ann Amadori||mother of John P Richmond|
I just put in a correction for the mother of John P Richmond, Find A Grave Memorial# 73245117.
Lucy Campbell was his step mother. His mother, Delia Hoffman Richmond, Find A Grave Memorial# 25998878, died when he was a small child.
See John's marriage record at https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/N3XC-FBV
and his death record at https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FH6R-XYY
Charles Irving Richmond is his half brother.
