|I believe that genealogy is made much easier by the common efforts of many.|
I am in the Dallas Metroplex and have spent much time in the local cemeteries. You will also find that I travel to Missouri, Tennessee, Oklahoma or other locations in search of kinfolk.
If you are connected to any of the families in my virtual cemeteries, I would love to hear from you.
This is a labor of love. Photographs confirm information but the labor of those that enter from obits and those that enter personal family information will prove to be invaluable to those that come after us.
If you have any additional information to share on any of the memorials that I have set up, I will be happy to enter your information or link to other memorials.
I am especially interested in older pictures that show life as it was. If you have more than 1 or 2 pictures of this type, let me know. We can place any number of pictures (within reason) on the internet for all to see.
As hard as I try not to, from time to time I do make mistakes. If you do see a mistake, please bring it to my attention politely. I tend to ignore rude and/or ignorant folks or those that think the world revolves about them.
Corrections and additions to memorials are made much easier if you use the "Edit" tab on the memorial. Personal correspondence may be by way of my email. I may be a bit slow in responding to emails if I am out of town at the time.
Please remember that this genealogical site is kept free by the sponsorship of the advertisers. If you find that you have received information that is helpful, please check the offerings of the various advertisers, from time to time on findagrave.com or any other web site that may have benefited you.
Most of all, enjoy the history of your kin folk.

The dates for the memorials in question do not match. My Nancy was born in 1800 and died in 1868. The other Nancy was born in 1795 and died in 1838. Possibly mother/daughter or some other relation.
Hi. I came across your information while doing research on Ancestry. I saw in your profile you'd like to hear from people tied to your virtual cemeteries. I link to Bollingers via my Hawn/Hawn maternal line. My maternal line also crosses with Schells, Younts, and so many from Southeast Missouri and back to North Carolina. I don't have any information passed down through my family, and only have information I've found on Ancestry and Find A Grave. I like to support other genealogists so I thought I'd respond to your request. If you think I can help or collaborate, please do let me know. Regards, Alan Atwood

Mr. Ellis; would you be so kind and transfer to me, Tim Heath the memorial for Lonnie Miller Rippy, Find A Grave #125399276. He is my wife's grand uncle. We know the children of both his marriages. I thank you in advance.

|Lyn JB||Sheila Grace Johnson Warlick|
Mr. James Ellis, I am very thankful for the transfer. It is so kind of you to do this for me. Did you and Sheila go to school together? Her brothers include Mike, Jim, and Tom. Jim is still living but now in Orange County, Texas.

This kind of award for Valor is usually lost to history as the DOD does not maintain a list like Silver star or MOH. In the early part of the Vietnam War they used to put the them in ALL Hand Magazine (Navy Publication) I been scouring there archive and making sure that they are place in all locations for these fallen men. Thank you for updating his Bio
