I have been doing genealogy research for over 20 years and love enumerating cemeteries. You will find I try to add genealogy info to a lot of the memorials I list. |
If you see an error or need something changed or added, please do not notify me directly but rather click on "edit" tab on the right side of the memorial. You will have the options to change the names, link to relatives or suggest other corrections. This works much faster for me than having to read a note on my page, search for the memorial and make the change.
If you want a parent or grandparent transferred to you (or a sibling) let me know by clicking that edit tab and giving me your member number through the link that says "suggest other corretions". Regarding Findagraves guidelines for transfers related to direct relatives:
You might ask- What if a member will not transfer my relative to me?
If the memorial in question is a direct relative within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents) to you and the original submitter is not direct family, then your wishes supersede theirs under our "Family First" policy. If they refuse to transfer your relative to you, contact the administration and we will work on it for you.
Please remember that there are thousands of contributors to Find A Grave, and it is highly likely that some of those contributors will actually be part of your family tree and share some of your ancestors.
Also, the goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it

Would you please advise me of you got the information that he was a grocer at the time of his death. I'm trying to build a history, not just facts. Thanks. firstname.lastname@example.org

Hello :) Micay is actually Micajah Thomas Edwards, son of Winnefred Ann Blow 61722041 and William Posey Edwards #61721963
He was named after his grandfather Micajah Blow 86011541, my 6th great uncle, son of Benjamin Blow and Priscilla Musgrove.

When I could not find them a second time - I rechecked the Giles Co. web site - southernmiddletennesseecemeteries.com
There is a Wm. and A Mary Anthony listed - with photos - but the dates do not match, different ones. Sorry.
