Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been an amateur genealogist for many decades, and never tire of it. Puzzles challenge me. Guess it is the "thrill of the chase". I especially delight in helping beginners get started.

Surnames I am researching and their primary locations:

New England and midwest: Hunt, Baldwin, Bigelow, Collins, Rose, Adams, Burket(t), French, Plant

Virginia/North Carolina: Campbell, Collins

Ohio and Oklahoma - Klintworth, Scherer, Schuler, Schultheis

Kentucky, Tennessee and beyond: Adkins/Atkins, Bertram (aka Butram, Buttram, Butrum, Buttrum, etc.), DeRossett/DuRossett, Brown (from ancestor Michael Brown of TN & KY, circa 1800-1858), Adkins, Owen(s), Rigney, Stinson, Shelton.

Missouri and Kentucky - Collins, Nations

I would love to hear from anyone else researching these names.

Anna,

Please call the Restland office at 972-238-7111 for the Plot location for your photo request. FYI, the office is also staffed on the weekends; just not sure of the hours. Once we have a location, we will be glad to move forward with your request.

We will also look for his wife's marker as well.

RE: Part II - George Ann Lindsey Butram Self
I don't know. I am just visiting Kentucky so I'm not familiar with the area. It was a challenge to find this cemetery and most of it is run down. Her stone appears to be the newest one there. I did ask locals about all the cemeteries I had on a list, none of which was called Stice, and they each said they think I had listed all they knew of.

She wasn't even listed in the cemetery, so I added her. Here she is: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=109920014

Butram/Buttram
I tried to fulfill your photo requests for Sarah and Lillie Buttram but couldn't find them. However, I did find a stone for a wife of "Granvil Butram" at another cemetery nearby. Are you at all interested in that?

Thanks Anna for linking her to her mother. We are doing more work on that line so there might be more links coming. Thanks again - Helen

RE: McMillan
How sad, I don't have an obit or find one on Ancestry. I will copy and paste this to the FB thread and see if anyone answers this for you. Our local library has some obits that volunteers put into book and we also have film. Have you checked the library where she died to see if they have anything like this?

RE: McMillan
Thanks a bunch, missing piece for Tabitha is her father that records show died in a Civil War battle at Ft Blakely, Al in 1865. No burial info. We had such fun chatting on FB and Paul's 1970's notes lead me to your memorial for Charles. Are you related? If so here is a piece of information. Paul's notes has Charles' wife as Stella 1881-1926, full name Stella Katherine Iona Day (info from Ancestry tree),no memorial found. Known as Katie/Catherine/Katherine. Marriage info as Katie.
