I have been working on my own family tree since about the Fall of 1999. I started this project by doing transcripts of my own family's cemeteries and taking photos of the stones. I am sure this is how most folks get started doing this kind of thing.|
On my father's side, I am researching these names; Campbell, Clouse, Donalson, Edwards, Elam, Engle, Faris/Farris, Gillum/Gilliam, Harris, Hodge/Hodges, Hutton, Keck, Owsley and Riddle at this time. These surnames are from Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Texas, with ties to England, Germany and Scotland.
On my mother's side, I am researching these names; Cantley, Clay, Gibbs, Rorrer/Rohrer and Turner at this time. These surnames are from Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia, with ties to Switzerland, Germany and England.
You have my permission to use any photos posted here as long as it used for research and not for profit.

|L Pritchett||Mesquite Cemetery - Ebrite Section|
I may have already thanked you for posting the photographs of my infant uncle's headstone and footstone: Pinkney C. M. Wilson. My gr-gr-grandfather, also buried there with only a footstone left when I visited, purchased the plot for the family's use when Pinkney died - who was his first grandchild. There are several different surnames in the plot, but all are direct relatives:
Wilson, Brisendine, and Coats (thought the Coats headstone was not there anymore when I visited in the 1990's).
In plots scattered about the cemetery, are cousins:
Bennett, Paschall, Caldwell, Futrell and more
Sincerely and Gratefully yours, Lynn

OK - Thank you.
|PM Bamburg||Re: Loma Pearl Bamburg|
Never mind. Found the headstone picture.
|PM Bamburg||Loma Pearl Bamburg headstone|
Ed - There is no picture of a headstone for Loma Pearl (Hobbs)Bamburg. Does she not have a headstone? There is a picture shown of several headstones with one centered, but I can't read it. Is that Loma Pearl's.

Juanita Grace Bamburg LaBeff is not the daughter of Maudie & Olar. She is the daughter of Olar's deceased first wife, Loma Pearl Bamburg.

|Wendell Walker||James P. Scoggins Correction|
Correction, the lady who also has a memorial
of James P. Scoggins and Nancy Swafford has
them buried in Rockwall, Texas.
Not Sunnyvale, as you have your memorial.
Which one is correct?
The two memorials even show two different
headstones with same birth/death dates??
