Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired public school teacher, interested in genealogy and helping others in their search for family. My wife and I are researching both our families including Carver, Henderson, Grisham, Grissom, Booker, Parker, Johnston, Dalton, McAfee, and several other surnames. Both our trees are found on ancestry.com.

If you see an error, or want to add something to a memorial, or want the memorial transfered to you please contact me at: jgteach99@yahoo.com. I am not a numbers person, if I have a memorial that is in your family, I will gladly transfer it so that you may improve the memorial.

At some point in my life I will become unable to maintain the memorial I have created and once that happens you will be able to find either a contact person listed here or you will be able to find my login information so that you may access memorials if needed. We need to urge Findagrave to create a way to make memorials more accessable for family historians coming along after we are gone.

Any photos on the memorials created and maintained by me may be used in your research.

Sixkiller Cemetery "Pryor, OK"
I noticed that you added a photo of this cemetery along with photos for Belle and Lola Sixkiller. By chance can you provide directions to this cemetery. I am also wondering if these were the only two buried in this location that you found?
Thanks,
Donna

RE: Miller Family
Are you familiar with the area in and around Crocketts Bluff, AR? In particular I am interested in what used to be a plantation known as Pleasant View. It was the home of William James Miller he died July 1879

Thanks!
Thank you for your prompt transfer of James Gilton to me. Marshall Gilton was a half-brother to James. Although our families lived in different states, my dad traveled to Mississippi once and met Marshall Gilton.

RE: James Hector Bishop
Jerry,
I agree wholeheartedly with you about Find A Grave needing to find a good way to being able to add to memorials. I have done a "ton" of updates in the West Colbert county cemeteries and have become frustrated because many of my"diligently researched data) goes unheeded. One person who had been very sick and died recently has many of my requests outstanding. Also
there is one person who is unreachable (Anonymous who has his messages disabled) and ignores my requests. Have a great day.
I have some Grisham relatives who live/lived in the Colbert county area. See ancestry.com for John Wesley Grisham (who married my gggMother)
