If you are volunteering to take a marker photo for me PLEASE take pictures of the full marker and close-up shots if it is an older, worn marker where the details are hard to read. I would also not mind having a plot photo. Also, please do NOT use chalk.|
I have been taking photos of cemeteries and grave stones for over 20 years, starting back in the late '80s.
I've always enjoyed strolling through old cemetaries, taking in the history and admiring old headstones.
I mostly use Findagrave for genealogical research for various branches of my family tree including Streetman, Willis, Hendon, Price, Cook, Walling, Luce, Sims, Spence, Fulgham, Dean, Williams and Rogers, Alston, Alford, and more. After realizing how much this site has helped me I've decided to return the favor and help others.
If you would like to have the memorial of a family member transferred to you please do not hesitate to ask.

Hi Tom-Would appreciate knowing who the upper portrait (man-woman-child) would be on the memorial page for Florence Holland Gillespie Streetman. She is my cousin. I would presume it was she & her parents, but don't want to post it incorrectly in my Ancestry tree. Gratefully, Carol Linda Vogt -Houston

You're so welcome!
I noticed on your profile that you like having a photo of the plot. (Me too!) We drove out to Millheim this morning to finish photographing the cemetery, and while we were there I took a photo of the plot. It is attached to the memorials now.
You are very welcome!

Tom there are 2 photos on the memorial for Mote Harman that you have taken. One is very clear and the other one is angled. Would you consider removing the angled one since is basically a duplicate 9102362. Thanks for taking the photos.
|Elizabeth Yates Johnson||Jimmie Doyle Gallant, # 51321473|
I noticed a photo you added to this memorial of a gravestone for Jimmie Doyle Gallant's daughter LaNelle, but no dates of birth or death are shown on the stone. Do you know if LaNelle is still living? We corresponded some years back about common ancestors, and I have not been able to reach her since then. Thank you. -- Betty (Elizabeth Johnson, Contributor #47542508)
I completed your photo request of Alma Judge. With her is her husband John F. Judge and her son Milton B. Judge. There were no memorials for John or Milton so I created them and transferred them to you.

Thank you for your response.
The reason I requested second photo of gravestone be removed is that both our shots of same stone. I personally see a need for two photos of same gravestone.
No problem - I'll remove my photo.
That being said, I really appreciate all you do in the interest of family research. Find A Grave is a great cite - especially with nice people like you who are willing to spend many hours in all kinds of weather doing what you do...

Noticed that there are two photos of Joe Baker Sr.'s gravestone. Wondering if you would be willing to delete the one you downloaded?
