Note: Information about Jacob and Mary Stauffer Varnes and some of their descendants has been taken from the following family history:
THE GENEALOGY OF THE JACOB LEIGHTY FAMILY OF FAYETTE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA by Floyd H. Leighty, Sr., Jan. 1980.
Special thanks to Julie Oliver for recording tombstone information at Bethel Christian Church near Anabel, MO, which has been used in some of the memorials.
Records of Ken O'Neal have been invaluable in creating memorials in East Liberty Presbyterian Cemetery in Vanderbilt, PA.
Elizabeth Ellsberry's Cemetery Records of Macon Co., MO, 1963, has been a great help for memorials in Macon Co., MO.
I try to follow the FAG guidelines concerning obituaries.
The question of initials in proper names has recently come up. I am trying to follow the FAG guidelines of using a period after a middle initial: "Concerning punctuation in proper names, always use normal English rules, such as always use a period after a Middle Initial."

I've got a news clipping for a Charles Milliron, age 19 who died 19 Jul 1890. Since you say you think his middle name is Henry but it is hard to read, is it possible his birth year is a typo or was also difficult to read and that it might be 1871? I thought this might be the son of William A. Milliron and his first wife Amanda J. "Jennie" (Burris). Your memorial for him is #135375973. My recent blog on locating the Millirons, often transcribed by indexes as Williams can be found here for those researching this name. Please feel free to email me, and thank you for all you've done for all of us.

I think they were aunts and uncles of Emeline Walker on her maternal line but I need to spend some time to clarify that. Another get back to you later. Your communication is appreciated. Thank you. If you want pictures e-mail me an address so I can send an attachment. My computer skills are poor and I do not want to mess up any presentation on findagrave. Carolyn

Sorry about taking so long to respond. Heavy work load and put my personal interests on hold.
Yes, I would very much appreciate managing Flora's memorial. She is my paternal grandmother.
Thank you anonymous 1.
