Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an amateur genealogist, living in Dublin, Ireland.

I am particularly interested in the Pigotts of Ireland and their descendants.
The Edgeworth families of Ireland and Britain are also of particular interest.
The graves of Irishmen who fought in WW1 & WW2 are also of interest.

they will not follow you,

is standing in the clothes that you once wore"

John
Just wondered if you have any more information on this person. Her mother Sarah Connolly was my great grandmother.
Many thanks

Dear John,

I came across the information about my great grandfather Robert Scholefiled 1848-1926 on this site, and my great uncle Cyril Scholefield who was killed in the war.

I didn't know any of this information, and nor did my aunt (his niece).

I am just starting out with my family tree.

Very many thanks,

Amanda Stuart

Herbert Charles Crozier
Hi John,
I noticed Major Herbert Charles Crozier Royal Dublin Fusiliers is noted at the bottom of the headstone photographed for Lt Gerard Irvine Crozier Leinster Regt. I couldn't see him in the list of names for Mount Jerome Cem. (could well be my eyesight!), and a search doesn't locate him, but I'm interested in his date of death, which is unclear (maybe 29/1/1921 or 1951?). Can you help please?

i note the amount of work you put into this project. Amazing!

Thanks,

Jon

Thanks for everything you've done on this one-I will copy you in correspondence with CWGC as to how we can get the date put right. They will probably place a 'Gallipoli' marker-small wedge-shaped stone there.

Hi John,
I am a descendent of O'Gradys from Ballinskelligs.
My mom used to talk about their neighbor,Dan Pigot, whom I believe was from Ballinskelligs and is in fact, buried next to my uncle,John O'Grady in
Hartford Ct USA.
Coincidence? Are we related?

Thanks John, nice to see that the inscription has been corrected and that you captured the grave when there were flowers there.

Re family landy @ curragh
I note your excellent records of family but note that you have missed a Nora Heron nee Landy who is buried in the Cemetery with her husband William. This lady would be the child Emily referred to in the family records for the landy family in 1911 census
The family names in common use were Andrew, Nora, Brendan, and Sheila. Not always their first names
