For goodness sake, please do not post blurry, crooked photos on my memorials! People want these photos for verification of dates and to use on their family trees - blurry/illegible/weird angle photos help no one and use up limited space!|
**Please do not put death certificates on memorials I manage**
Don't be a troll and post messages on my wall if I can't post back to yours.
Feel free to use any photos I post for your family tree!
Please do not request memorial transfers via message here. Send your info through the "edit" button on the memorial. Also, deleting memorials I created will make me stop transferring altogether!
Wouldn't genealogy be awesome if it was like it is portrayed on "Who Do You Think You Are?" You could walk into a place and have your family history laid out before you, traced back to royalty....yeah, right! But seriously, the work you do on FindAGrave can help others experience that. Doing the research to add obituaries and link memorials can go a long way. Every little bit helps!
I am researching:
Dwyers in Minnesota
Amoses in Indiana & Maryland
Trees in Indiana
McCabes in Indiana
Tennants in West Virginia
Takahashis in California
Schmidts in Ohio
Beans in Oklahoma

Thank you so much for the info and esp the news paper article on Roy Mobley - Kileen Texas, we were friends in 8th grade, Roy took his like the next year and that hit me hard. My memory of that day was backed up by the news story, so very sad. I think of him often, thank you for all your work
Hi Kelly, I've written you before about my Tennant family. I am married to Mickey Hercules whose Grandfather was Carl Ruckh. Are we any relation to each other, do you have any idea? Thanks Pam Hercules
|JKST||Parents of Elizabeth Long Arnold|
There is an annotation that Elizabeth's parents are Edward Long and Alsey Ellis. This cannot be true. The 1850 census shows their daughter Elizabeth to be 19 years old. She was born in 1831. Elizabeth Long Arnold was born in 1848. The age difference is too great for them to be the same person.

|Melinda Overby||Eleanor Smith Coen|
Hi! I'm doing research for an heirship I am currently working on (the Coen family). I was wondering if you knew if Eleanor Smith Coen & her husband, Robert P. Coen had any children? I tried searching Ancestry, Genealogy bank.com & various other places with no luck.

I wanted to let you know I double checked the date of death for my husbands uncle and it is 2008. I remember the funeral very well because a fist fight broke out in the funeral home...Anyway I figured there was a chance I was wrong so I went back to the obituary I saved in the family album and it was 2008.

I found and photographed a marker today that I believe is this man, the dates are close but the first name is Karl...I'm going to add the photo and suggest the corrections but if you think I'm wrong let me know and I'll take the photo down.
