Live in Baltimore County, MD; summer at Limekiln Lake in Inlet, NY. Write historical articles for Weekly Adirondack in Old Forge, am interested in Adirondack and Fulton Chain historical figures, of whom many are in Oneida and Lewis Counties and other NY cemeteries, many now inactive, often in obscure locations. I work from my cemetery photos, then linking the graves through Ancestry.com trees, and newspaper sites such as www.nnyln.net and fultonhistory.com. I often contact ancestry trees to let them know I've found their family members, especially if I've used their trees to confirm or help link family members on findagrave.|
I also want to thank Margaret Northrup for the photos and cemetery information provided with her permission from her trips to upstate NY cemeteries. She has generously provided her photos to me for use on findagrave.com.
There is always a chance for errors and happy finger typos. So please do not hesitate to let me know if you find something needing correcting, have more family connections or question the links I've made.
If some find I've added a photo where one was already present, I often take photos to get the whole stone and a closeup for clarity or to get the family group of stones. If I find a photo of part a stone and I have the entire stone , if the back of stone is shown without the front, I will add my own to the benefit of the memorial and the deceased's family who may not be able to go to that location. In like manner, if someone has a better, clearer photo than mine, please add it and don't hesitate to ask me to remove mine. Please contact me and I will be glad to do so.
My profile photo was taken at a mock cemetery at Sturbridge Village.

Charles..........I added Fanny's obit (or condensed version of it, not listing organizations) to her memorial. It lists her father and mother as you can see as Patrick and Mary Elizabeth Duvelow Golden. My conclusion was that Mary Elizabeth was married to Patrick first and had Fanny, then remarried and had other children. I have yet to add any links......maybe will just add her mother's link, not sure yet. All of that generation is gone now, but I have no one to ask. I was only 7 when Fanny died, but remember her well. She and my grandmother were very close and we although they were cousins we grew up calling her Aunt Fanny.

Right you are. And there is also an obit for his mother, Harriet H. Giles from the 1910 Utica paper. Great information! :-) Alice

Thanking for connecting Helen to her parents for me.
If you could take a photo of the headstone for her mother Helen Faulhaber Schneider in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, I would GREATLY appreciate it.
You can find the information that I have for her on her memorial
God bless you,
