All the Brown Cemeteries in Brown's Cove are next to the houses of my ancestors and are very old pioneer cemeteries which stopped being used a very long time ago. All three of the people I wrote you about died elsewhere and in modern times. There are numerous cemeteries in Albemarle County, the only way you are going to know the proper place to put them is to get their death certificates, along with obituaries etc but I am sure they are not in these pioneer cemeteries. Thank you for understanding and correcting this, most appreciated. Eileen

Would you be willing to transfer Anna Jaeggi to me? She is my great great aunt.

Just curious--where did you get a death year of 1862 for Joseph? The cemetery transcript (prepared in 1987), and the gravestone both show 1867. I've seen the gravestone up-close and despite looking like it could possibly be carved 1862, it is definitely carved 1867. Perhaps it was carved in error, but there's no death record to verify this unfortunately. If you could provide a source for 1862, I'll correct it. Until then I will make a note in his bio stating that there may be a discrepancy. Thank you.

Actually, if you create a memorial with an "unknown" burial it should be updated within 30 days or deleted according to Find A Grave rules. And no, I am only required to search the cemetery before adding a memorial. From the Faq: "Before adding a memorial, search the cemetery to see if a record with that name has already been added" and : "Location of body unknown must be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days."
I have asked edit@findagrave to merge the memorials. I would be happy to add your obituary, if the living relatives are deleted or we can just let Find A Grave do a merge.
I am not a hoarder either. Had you simply stated that you had created a memorial with "burial unknown" and recently found from my memorial where the interment was and you asked me to delete mine I most likely would have done so.

Spy vs. Spy do you remember that one ?
You are a good detective. I destroyed the evidence now though! :}
Added you as a friend. Saw your response to the rude person. If she is anything like Elizabeth that sent me a rude message she is a mess. Thanks for putting the rude on in her place! I don't mind making corrections but I will not have anyone threatening me to do it. God Bless!
