Bio and Links
Bio Photo The descendants of the old settlers, those who cleared the land and first upturned the wild sod to the sun, should see that the doings of those early years are fittingly remembered and recorded.
It was once remarked by a great writer that those who take no interest in the deeds of their ancestors are not likely to do anything worthy to be remembered by their descendants.

Please leave flowers or memorials on my memorials, I believe everyone deserves flowers, and I have a great family. Thank you in advance.
A BIG thank you to those who send histories, death notices, obits and links to add to the memorials. They are wonderful additions.

Please read Find A Grave's Transfer Requirements before requesting a transfer "THE FIND A GRAVE GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFERRING MEMORIALS ARE: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for a transfer BUT PLEASE do no ask for a transfer that is not within these guidelines and PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.
Putting requests on this site you will be ignored, and erased. Ignorance is not bliss it is just embarrassing for you.

For extended family members you can add
Virtual Cemeteries as we have done.

PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB ON THE UPPER RIGHT SIDE OF THE MEMORIAL TO SEND CORRECTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS. Will gladly add any obits and will add links to family members. "
IF A MISTAKE IS FOUND PLEASE EMAIL ME,USING THE EDIT BUTTON ON THE MEMORIAL. This is very important which is why it is CAPITALIZED thank you.

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out On polished, marble stone.
It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn.

You did not know that I exist You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our heart contracts and beat a pulse Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled One hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so.I wonder if you lived and loved,I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, And come to visit you.

THANKS
Thank you so very much for the photo of Truman E Gilbert. Eventhough I am not a direct relative I am related to his sister Elizabeth via the Goldsberry's. Seeing his picture gave me an additional connection to a much loved Gilbert family. THANKS AGAIN

RE: Elizabeth McDaniels
I have added info to The Elizabeth McDaniels memorial. I am still seeking more identifying info. My Elizabeth Mary McDaniels lived nearly all her life in Newfield, Tompkins Co., NY. Many of the McDaniels family members are buried in Newfield. Looking at the 1880 and 1900 census years, her birth month and the ages posted leads to the birth year on the nearby Danby grave stone.
Elizabeth was my mother's aunt and I can remember visits to her home in Newfield, late 40s or early 50s.
She lived in Newfield most her life and I am requesting some info from the Newfield Historical Society.
Thanking you for generating the memorial and your great work!

Old Cooks Cemetery
Barb, I have left another set of messages on memorials listed in the Delta County's Old Cooks Cemetery.
This is actually in Schoolcraft County - the maps are even the same.
When I went to Old Cooks, there are about 20 obvious depressions that would indicate possible interments without markers. These would be accounted for in your listing that are not already added in the Schoolcraft's Old Cooks Cemetery. That is wonderful information but it should be in the proper listing as well.
I have asked again that you delete the duplicates. I will ask Find a Grave to merge the two cemeteries.
I thank you for your time and consideration.

William L. Wilding #93248300
Hi Barbara,

I would like to ask for clarification if possible, regarding the grave memorial for William L. Wilding.

You indicate he is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, San Bernardino, CA. However, I had previously submitted a photo request and the photo volunteer reported that he was cremated and his ashes returned to family. So I'm unsure what his final disposition was. If you could provide me with some clarification, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you!

RE: William Nabors
Hello! Obera's great grandfather, George Benjamin Nabors, was my uncle Leo Rex Nabors' grandfather. It is a pleasure to meet new family and those who loved my family members!
If I find anything on her children or grand children, I will try to let you know!
Many blessings!
