I have put a great deal of time into creating many of these memorials. I am continually researching the memorials that I've created and often find more tidbits of information to add. If you have anything you'd like added, let me know. |
Please read the Find a Grave policy to see whether your request qualifies a transfer. If it falls within the guidelines, then, please use the EDIT button on the top right of the person's memorial page when you want to request a transfer since it provides me with the link to that memorial.
Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) will not be transferred. The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.
I am more than happy to have anyone add their personal photos of people on a memorial. However, I discourage adding death certificates and genealogy material in printed form out of a book.

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am presently working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers" that had ties to Vt, Charles Lincoln is one such patriot, being born in Pittsford, Vt,in aby 1839.May I use the photo that you contributed to his Find A Grave Memorial page, to post on the Vt. C.W.site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org) You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
The name for this memorial has had lots of confusion- because it is an unusual middle name. My birth records are the same as the headstone- George Anthon Anderson. I submitted a name correction, thanks.
Thank you so much for providing the plot for the three Head females ( miter and daughters). It's greatly associated. Thanks again for your help.

Thank you for your many contributions here for the benefit of the genealogical community.
I appreciate you taking the time to accept my edits. I am investigating my aunt's family and may have more.
I would be happy to provide sources if you ever have questions about my edits.

Thank you so much for transferring this memorial to me. It means a lot.
Thank you so much for transferring my grandfather Yaeger's parents and sisters to me. I cannot even begin to say in words just how much it means to me. If there is any way I can be of help to you please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks again!

Are you kin to Moses Teague or his descendants? I need to get in touch with descendants of this line of the Teague family.

Thank you for your edit requests.
Other than plot information & information that is shown on the gravestone itself, any other requests to add information will need to be substantiated by official sources. I've copied/pasted the section from my profile page that pertains to edits: ~~~When you submit an addition or correction, please include the LINK to the OFFICIAL source, so that it can be confirmed. No Exceptions. Any edit must be substantiated before the edit will be made. A family tree is not official; the source needs to be an official document or published book. The source name will be posted to the memorial. I am unable to accept information from ancestry.com as a substantiating source as the information on the site is not always reliable & cannot be accessed by non-members. If information cannot be substantiated, the edit request will be declined. In order to send substantiating information for your edits, use the "suggest any other correction or addition" link.~~~
