Bio Photo I was born in Ogden, Utah.

I served in the Navy for 4 years as a sonarman (1966-1970), Three of those years were aboard the destroyer: USS Blue (DD-744).

I worked civil service for Hill Air Force Base, retiring after 42 years.

I work part time for Napa Auto Parts.

I love to do Genealogy research, which has brought me to Find A Grave. I like to help out in my spare time, and give something back.

I have fixed the birthdate for her, and added the middle initial K. As to changing her name from Jensine to Jennine, both family records and her death certificate indicate that her name really is Jensine. Thanks for your help and suggestions! Are you related?

RE: Charles Hainline
Good morning Richard,
The memorials for Charles and Valetta Hainline are very good. There is no need for a transfer as you have done very well adding the information I sent and I don't have any other info. Thank you again for all your help.

RE: Charles Hainline
Thank you so much for adding the info to Charles & Valetta Glaze Hainline.
I just found a newspaper clipping from Filer, Twin Falls, Idaho where Charles & his parents lived. Apparently Charles was married & divorced before he married Valetta Glaze. I have not been able to find any information on Grace Blaski.

Here is what it says. You can choose what to do with it.

"Marriage of Son
Filer, Oct 30--Mr. & Mrs. Jesse Hainline annouce the marriage of their son, Charles Hainline, to Miss Grace Blaski, at Alameda, Calif. Sept 21.

Mr. Hainline is assistant surgeon at the Alameda Naval Base Hospital. They will make their home at

RE: Emily Thomas
Joseph and Emily are my great-grandparents. So, we are related. Their son Leonard is my grandfather. I must admit that I have neglected this side of my family for the last few years since I have been concentrating on my father's line. I have done very little on the Rees line, but will delve into my records to see what I can find on Thomas Richard Rees. By the way, do you have a copy of Moroni's journal? Thanks for contacting me. Keep in touch. Renee

RE: Thanks for your work
We'll thank you also for your service in the Navy. You musta pinged onto a few subs during 1966-70. Actually I was playing soldier with my G.I. Joe when you were cruising. Me, I'm a little younger than you, and was in the AF from 1979-99. I'm not really retired as I work for BAE Systems writing Tech Orders for the military. I guess my biggest dismay is finding children dumped into cemeteries, sometimes for a hundred years, not linked to their parents. With Family Search and Find A Grave, I try to bring them together as a family.
