Born in San Francisco, I live in southern California and have become passionate about genealogy since I had my first child several years ago. I've been amazed at how much Ive been able to find out through the internet, networking, and old records. I love finding out more about my family and American history through this research.|
My maternal ancestors are many, mostly Catholic Polish farmers from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nebraska (Cormier, Schantzen, Stancyk, Spotanski, Audette). The rest are French Canadian. My paternal ancestors (Cohen, Polsky) are Polish and Jewish and come from Nebraska, Minnesota, and San Francisco, California. I enjoy connecting with other history buffs, and have met some very nice helpful people on Find a Grave.

|Robert F. Harrill-Brown||Milton C Polsky duplicates|
I just transferred my control over my entry for Milton to your account. I am very apologetic about it taking me so long to get around to doing the transfer, as I am usually more on top of things.
I rather imagine the duplication came about from an uncleared/unclaimed request for the photo at Find a Grave, said request I filled. I now have learned it is important to "claim" a photo before you go out and take one. For example, I had taken numerous photos at Golden Gate National, only to learn another Find A Grave submitter had already "claimed" them. Much wasted effort on my part.
Again, my apologies for not acting on your request sooner.

I found Bertha and created a memorial for her, but the two sons are not located anywhere near them, if they are buried at Hillside. Sorry, I hope you find them.
No problem Sarah, no problem, gets me out of the house! Have a great day!

Sarah, it was Agnes Curtin, I think, that was my mother's cousin!
I was searching for info on my grandfather and saw your name connected to his on geni.com and here. He was the 12th child of Lawrence Cormier and Julia Audette. He looks like a girl in his blond ringlets! I also have a copy of that photo.
Adrian was married to Leone Watson and they had one child, my mother.
We must be related through the Cormier side. I don't know of any other relatives from that side except for my mom had a cousin named Agnes Thorslund who's maiden name was Shantzen (I think).
I would love to find out more and maybe add info to your history!
No problem Sarah. I tried digging where I would have thought there would be one, but no stone. But I will keep an eye open when I get up there next. Darlene

Hi Sarah, I also think it is strange, there are no other markings on Anna's stone. There is plenty of room on either side of her stone for Franks. Frankie and his wife's stone are close also to the other side, but again still room. I checked the church directory and they do not have Frank listed just Frank Jr. Could he have died somewhere else? Just a thought. wish I could have found him for you.

Sarah, I went out looking for Frank but if he is buried next to Anna there isn't a marker. There is an area by her but couldn't find anything. Darlene
