William George Wadsworth
Thanks for your explanation and I agree this is very confusing. Let's look at it like this:
Look at your memorial for William George Wadsworth # 10986246. Look at the date of birth (Jan 12, 1861) and the death date (Oct 8, 1961). Now look at the headstone photo. The dates match your memorial except for the year of death is 1861 on the headstone, not 1961 you have on your memorial. I think this was a typo when creating the memorial. The change would make William George 9 months old (instead of 100 years old).

The narrative names the 9 month old child "George W. Wadsworth". I think it should say "William George Wadsworth" for two reasons. Your memorial is for a 9 month old William George. Secondly, 9 month old "William George" had a brother "George W." born later in 1868 that lived to be 77 years old.
Let me know what you think.

I think changing the death date from 1961 to 1861, which matches the headstone, would fix all this except the name on the narrative which we can't do anything about.

Spouse of Kathryn Schreckenberg
Hi Lori,

I just have a correction. You show Todd Schreckenberg as a spouse of Kathryn. Todd
was the son of Kathryn and Frank Schreckenberg.

Thank you,

Howard Cassidy

Lori, I have a couple of questions about the memorial you created for William George Wadsworth #10986246. You have written the following narrative: "It is claimed that the first death in Freeman township carried away George W. Wadsworth" (not William George Wadsworth), "son of W. and Sarah Wadsworth. The child was nine months old." Now, William George Wadsworth does has a sibling, George W. Wadsworth. Should the narrative say William George or as you have it, George W.? George W. Wadsworth live to be 77 so I don't think the narrative is about him. William George, I believe only lived nine months although according to your death date he lived to be 100 years old. The headstone you show has matching birth and death months & days for the memorial you created for William George but his death year should be 1861 instead of 1961 according to the stone that is pictured. Help me sort this out for my research, please.

This is regarding the grave of Loretta (Fussy) Richner which is in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Royalton, MN. The dates of birth and death are right on the web site, as is her picture, and husband,(ex-husband when she died), but the obituary is for another Loretta. She was Loretta (Fussy) Trettel. She is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Prairie, MN, and died in 1998 at age 77.
I know this for a fact, as I have both obituaries in front of me.

Elwell Transfers
Hello Lori: Thank you for your kind transfers of these two of the Elwells from Lakewood Cemetery in Mpls. I did request other transfers of this direct line from the distant relative who now manages them, but she has not yet responded to my request nor answered my email. I appreciate your cooperation .
After last weeks' service crash on FindAGrave I am sure we are all happy to see the site up and running and volunteers busy with memorials.
Best Regards, D. Montgomery
