Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am originally from Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan, but I presently live in Plain City, Utah. My husband's kin are from Shiawassee, Clinton, Hillsdale, and Genesee Counties in Michigan, and in Vermont. Other lines go back to Ontario, Dutchess County, New York, and Kent, England.

My father's kin, (McClelland) go back to Wigtownshire, Scotland, and before that, County Londonderry, Ireland, Limerick, and Kerry. Also Newcastle, England, many of them coming into Ontario, Canada, before Michigan.

My mother is from Clydebank, Scotland, and her lines go back to Donegal, Ireland, and Linlithgow, Falkirk, Perth, and the Isle of Islay in Scotland.

I am very involved in Family History and enjoy photographing and contributing to Find a Grave. I have researched many of the people that I have uploaded, using the links to connect with with others on the Family Tree.

I LOVE to transfer memorials to others that are more closely related than I. Please don't hesitate to ask. And I am open to making corrections or additions. If you have a better photo than one that I show, I am VERY HAPPY to take mine down for yours, or if you want the memorial of your kin that I created to be deleted, I am very happy to accomodate in any way.

Transfer of family members...
Hi Barbara,

First I wanted to thank you very much for documenting the graves in Burkholder United Cemetery in Hamilton. I did visit there many years ago and my pictures aren't nearly as clear as yours.

I've just joined "Find a Grave" and I was wondering if you could transfer 4 family members. They are my grandparents and great-grandparents.

Many thanks

Hi Barbara

Here's a new listing in High Halden that I know will interest you - I've linked her to her parents

We've both got a slew of Homewoods our respective family trees

Cheers, Jan

I saw you added the cemetery photos for the one cemetery over there in Scotland and was trying to find out what the other 2 were called and thought Id see if you knew. I've got some family buried there I think and would like to make sure I get them in the right spots.

RE: Burial dates

Thanks so much, Barbara, I'm just grateful that I had the opportunity to spend 9 days taking photographs. I'm hoping to do it again later this year.

RE: Burial dates

Hi Barbara

Thanks for your message and kind words.

I can't quite believe we got as many photos as we did - I'm still working on entering them all. It's turned out to be a great winter project, though.
