Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, I have been working in genealogy since 1981. I welcome all requests in the Chatham-Kent area for grave photos and obituaries.

I try to be as accurate as possible, using the local archives, newspapers, and the genealogy society's transcripts.

Please do not ask to transfer management of memorials unless you personally are a direct descendant.

"Kent" is a county, not a town or village. If you request me to edit someone's birth or death place, please be specific with the location as Kent is 2,458 km 2 (949 sq mi)and has a population of over 110,000 people. It has many towns and villages.

Janet

I wanted to thank you for your photography work in this cemetery. I am now just getting to most of it for my tree.

Would you be so kind as to delete the distant shot on memorial #195615809 (Lonzo Perry Arnold) and replace it with a distant shot of Lonzo's? The one on HIS memorial is of Annie's not his.

Thank you again for your help.

RE: James Banning
Thank you SO much for the photo. I was planning on a trip to Chatham this year for that purpose. The dates may have been hard to read, but they are right! I did not know that James mother, Mary Ann Ward was buried there too.
He was a Chairman of the Board of Works and on the City board of Health (lived on Victoria Ave.)
Thanks again.

thank you so much for sending photo for my great-grandfather Edwin Cape's gravestone. To my surprise, it also includes my great-grandmother, Mary Padbury, ...we were not aware they were buried in the same plot.

Thanks again for taking the time to search this out for me. It is greatly appreciated.

Misread the stone and missed the inconsistency. Thanks for catching it--it's fixed. Noticed your connection to Kent County, Ontario--I am descended from John Craford, one of the original settlers at Lake Erie Shores who arrived about 1809. If you know any of his previous history, I'm interested. Thank you.

Thanks again & again for you & your camera. The photos are very good. I know it's winter and there's probably lots of snow, but come spring we've got more for you to look for.

You pictures are as good as Canadagenweb's! In fact, I sometimes wish YOU had taken them. There's a few photographers who put marks (X's) thru the face of the photos...one cannot even read the dates! What good are they if no one can read them...they might as well not bother all at!!

Again, thanks for your work and for listening.

RE: Walter E Coleman
Thank you for letting me know. So sad to see that it has fallen down. Can you read the bottom of the stone? Looks like you have been busy in that cemetery you took some pictures of other Coleman family of mine. Thank you so much for letting me know. I never get back to each memorial as much as I would like to.
