Bio Photo Hi All
I am new to all this so bear with me if I have info you can use. I am from Saskatchewan Canada and enjoy the peace of Grave yards so my plan was to make my way through the three different grave yards in my city, Regina, and start taking pics of all my family and friends Grave sites for my own family tree and then thought of how many others might just be looking for a family members grave site too. Maybe even some of my own family. To my surprise I have already found a good handful of family member's grave sites right here.
So I thank you and plan to be adding those of who I know located in these three cemeteries and those whom lay to rest close by. Maybe I too can assist another with finding their family. If for some reason I happen to input a grave site that another prefers is not added please let me know so it can be removed.

Hello Sue:

Regarding your memorial # 63569056, unknown burial for Polly Baker Joyner - would you please look at memorial # 103004598 and see why I am really confused.

I research the Whitmore line and also this Baker and Harris line and always thought Polly, daughter of Polly Whitmore & Elkanah Baker married Anson Bement after the death of John Harris.

Have these two Pollys been mixed up with the wrong parents for one of them?

Any help appreciated.
Cheers~ Shirleen

Dow Families
Just discovered this info and excited to see names that are part of my history. There is a comment about not finding a grave for AMOS DOW. AMOS is buried along with parents and some of his siblings in Meductic, N.B. I live in Woodstock, N.B. and have been to all the grave yards in my area. Includes, Canterbury, Meductic and Marne. I was born and brought up in Dow Settlement so family was all around me. Just started about a year ago and my, there is alot of info out there but sites don't always agree. Half sister, 94 and another sister, 85 of age who passed away last year had all kinds of info but the minds can do things when we get older.Leaving my email address as would love to know more. As follows: My address Linda Shannon,
318-399 Main St., Woodstock, N.B., E7M 2B4

Hannah Dow #84858814
Hi, Sue -- I was adding information to my tree re: Hannah Dow #84858814. She and members of her family unfortunately were killed by Indians. I am thinking that the location of her death is not Indiana but Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts, where the Dustin (or Duston) Massacre occurred on March 15, 1696/97.

Colburn/Coburn Family

I notice that you posted both Benjamin Colburn's here on F.A.G. and they are my ancestors. I was wondering how much information you have on the Coburn/Colburn family? How are you related? Would you be willing to share any information?

In searching out headstone for a many times Great Aunt of mine "Dorcas Kimball", I found this and wondered, could this be her husband? Sure enough, I did the research and THEY ARE husband and wife.

Dorcas Kimball was born about 1649 to Henry Kimball and Mary Wyatt in Ipswich,Essex,Ma. She married Thomas Dow Dec.1,1668. I'm about to add their children to my files from the book listed below.

In the online book; "The Old Families of Salisbury and Amesbury, Massachusetts: With Some Related....
Just type the couples names into the search bar and click "books", it'll come up in the list. Bottom of page 136 and continues onto page 137.

Please add her to his memorial!

Ms. Mandy
Harriet Dow

I updated Harriet's vital information via the fill-in form. I was doing a lot of research on my Dow family and had some luck with researching papers from the area. I came across her obit (transcribed) and it corresponds with my census and other vital records data.

I'd be happy to chat with you further about the Dow family, as my line comes from the Canterbury/Dow Settlement region in N.B. and ventured south to Wisconsin and Maine.

Hope this helps! :)

Joiner / Joyner clans
Hi Jay -- I thought I would post a message on Find A Grave with what I found -- you & Sue (my sister) may have already found this but in case other family members are also 'stumped' I found where several of the Joiner / Joyner clan are buried.

Virgil Rural Cemetery (see Find A Grave Cemetery listing)

Virgil Rural Cemetery records can be found at

Catharine Lewis Joiner is listed as Catherine (I've let the Contributor know and she's working on the duplications). She's done an amazing job entering!

Other family links on the same site & Cemetery several with headstone photos for:

Baker, Beardsley, Canedy, Carpenter, Hall, Hutchings, Joiner, Joyner, Lewis, Weeks and several others.

Nice to connect with another family member on the Joiner/Joyner side!

*Sue -- we have them entered as Joyner and now we know which Cemetery many rest in.

RE: Dow family
Hi Sue - nice to hear from a Dow cousin! My 4th great grandmother was Ruth Dow, daughter of Enoch & Ruth Morton Dow. I'm always looking for more connections!

All the best,
