Bio Photo We've been working on family genealogy/ history since 2007- trying to create order from the entries in family bibles and notes. I was thrilled to discover Find A Grave and fill in some gaps. I'm happy to share, add to or correct any information, just send me a SAC! If you are related (and I am not), I will gladly transfer, just ask.
*Any photos my husband or I have taken of gravestones may be used for genealogical purposes.

RE: Charles and Clara Nelson
Hello, Again,
Thank you so much for all your help with this! You really had to delve into this matter of Clara Nelson's husband and rearrange information to straighten out this part of the Nelson family. I have added information for Ruth (Erickson) and Arvid Wall. I hope you are enjoying the same lovely weather we have been having in South Bend. My sister from Tucson and my nephew from Mexico City are visiting. My nephew was asking about my Grandma Harding (Ruth Christine (Johnson) Harding) and I just quickly made a copy and printed off the information about her from her Find a Grave Memorial page. Now, that is a quick way to answer a question!

RE: Esthermary Madigan
Esthermary was a second cousin, once removed, so very distantly. My mother lives in the family farmhouse that was built in 1879, so there were lots of old family photo's there.

Esthermary Madigan
Thanks so much for entering Esthermary Madigan on Find a Grave. I've been trying to verify that she was the same person that died in Arizona, and this confirmed it. I have pictures of her and her brother Frederick Hewitt Madigan when they were very young, and had hoped to share them with their family, but looks like neither married. Thanks for all you do on Find a Grave. The information is so helpful in my Ancestry search.

RE: Deleted Belle
The offer is appreciated, but no, I'm not -- unless you count "the wife of someone whose name is the same as someone I ran across while researching a family that turned out to be not at all related to the spouse of a distant cousin" as "related" :-).

RE: Gertrude Boonstra 142428152
Sorry, I neglected to answer that question the first time around. I see she is now linked to both husbands! Her first husband was born in 1864; the second in 1871, so they do fall in the correct order under "Spouse". If you were to put "Uilke" as the first name and "William" as his nickname, that would help a lot, I think.

With the first William she had:
Johan (“Joseph”, 1888)
George (1891)
Aaltje (“Alice”, 1892); m. Bultema; linked to the wrong father William.

With the second William she had:
Jella (Djille, later “William”, 1897)
Anna (1900-1902); linked to the correct father William.

RE: Gertrude Boonstra 142428152
That's right, but William was their American name. They were born Wybren (m. 1887; divorced) and Uilke (m. 1897). I have requested that Gertrude be linked to the other husband as well.

I also meant to say that the name is quite common. It is not an error.
Thank you.
