|Jan Colton||Greenwood burials|
My source is their great-granddaughter. She approached me a few weeks ago about helping her get started with her research. So I sent her back to find info on everyone that her parents and grandparents can remember, including where each person is buried. Since Ancestry.com is a paid site, many people are wary of using their trees. So I have them start their trees in FamilySearch.org and I enter the info they give me in Find-a-Grave so a reference for each person is out there that allows everyone to be visually linked. It would seem that her father may have been confused on which cemetery they are in. Sandy V also inquired this morning and I asked for her thoughts on how to confirm where they really are, as Iím way over in the Midland area. Perhaps you have knowledge of a source where we can confirm their location without a 3 hour trekÖ

Oh, don't I know it!
|Mike Cronk||John H. O'Connor Duplicate - St. Andrew's vs. Woodlawn Cemeteries|
Good Morning Judith,
My duplicate at St. Andrew's has been deleted. Sorry for the late response.
|Mike Cronk||Joan Stoddard-Kneibel - Woodlawn Cemetery|
Thanks for the "heads up" on Joan. I made the requested change. Joan is my cousin. My mother used to play with Joan and her sister, Doris, when they were children and their houses were back yard to back yard on the near west side of Grand Rapids.

Bergon and brother Chester, next grave, are the sons of Norman and Teresa Wilson.
Betrice is the son of John and Julianah. Same years, different person.
But thanks for trying
Thanks for the heads up on the BU, I have forwarded it onto the admin

I didn't use a death certificate, I used documented family documents. And that's where he recorded as being buried. If he is not buried there, I have no idea where in Michigan he is.
|History Hunter||RE: John Jewell #91252220|
This was interesting. 2 differnt John Jewell's, both died in 1849 different months and ages and different parents and on opposite sides of the state.
I've put in a request for a clearer photo of the John Jewell in Trumbull County. I will hunt to see if John Jewell in Butler County has a stone, but I don't think he does. I go to that cemetery once a year so will look more closely for his stone.
Thanks again because you caught the duplicate memorials they will both be with the right parents now.

Judith- I found info on this John Jewell . His parents are John and Jane Jewell. Death dates match. Since you found the dates would you like to send correct edits for this John Jewell? Or I can submit them. I have sent correct edits for my John Jewell for his siblings . His wife was Miriam Burdg, Burdge, or Burge. They changed the spelling alot.
The photo you added looks like it is on John & Jane Jewell's stone, probably on the side or back.
Thanks so much for catching all of this. We can now get family linked correctly
|History Hunter||John Jewell Trumbull county ohio|
I have sent edits to un link parents to the John Jewell in Trumbull County Ohio # 91252220. This is another family of Jewell's. You are right about the photo info as I see the dates. Often here in Ohio if a child dies first they put up a stone and then often add the child to their stone when they-the parents die. So a child might have 2 stones. I have several memorials that way entered. Maybe the John Jewell that has partial dates and this John Jewell is the same person. Probably John and Jane Jewell are the parents of the John Jewell.
My John Jewell's # 144640036- family John and Catherine Jewell all lived in Butler County.
So hope you can figure out those Jewell famly members in Trumvbull County. I have burial record for the John Jewell buried near his parents in Pioneer cemetery in Middletown Butler county Ohio.
