|Bio and Links|
I'm happy to make corrections and add information or family links to any of the memorials I've created. Please use the 'Edit' button in the upper right corner created for that purpose. In most cases I follow Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Justifying out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information doesnt work. I am perfectly capable of doing this, as I do this several times daily/weekly. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision and everyones loss.|
Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.
Most updates, corrections and links are done within a week, many are done within minutes. If the changes arnt made in 10 days please send another msg, the e-mail gods may have eaten the first one. Guidelines do suggest a member send no more than 20 per week, but I have yet to be overwhelmed by changes. Send what you need to complete a project and I will deal with it. My objective is getting memorials, and cemeteries as accurate and complete as humanly possible.
People who have large numbers of no name cemeteries are, in my opinion, abusing the system created by Find-A-Grave. To make memorials and wait for others to spend the time adding the proper memorial then claiming yours to be a duplicate is wrong on any number of levels. If you have large numbers of no cemetery memorials be forewarned, I will not delete any memorial because of your abuse.
I will not link to burial unknown or no cemetery unless it fits the criteria set by the site:
Under the new guidelines, burial unknowns are subject to removal after 30 days.
My photos are free to use for personal uses such as books and personal web sites as long as they remain un-edited. Do Not Remove my name. I do not allow my work to be published on paid sites. If you are unsure about this please email me with your request. Some of the photos are very old digital and there is no way for me to get better quality. However, the large majority are made with professional gear. If you have a project where you need high quality photos let me know.

Thank you for adding my cousin. I gave you the wrong death date. Ted died 15 April 2003 and his memorial was on 23 April, 2003. I just noticed my mistake!!!
Merry Christmas Scott. Glad to be of help with the photos. Have more coming.

|Steven D. Fairweather||RE: Claude Leonard Treat|
Oddly, there are two Mary K Treat...but, that is a different Mary K Treat. My Mary Katherine Henry-Penegor-Treat-Lahr is still alive and was born on 31 Mar 1925. Her oldest daughter, Karen Ann Penegor-Hollingsworth is my wife's S-Mom.
Thank you for your reply,

Laura Christensen Cook is my grand aunt. Here is the information I have about her.
Full name: Laura Etta Christensen
Birth date and place: 18 June 1903, Stirling, Alberta, Canada. Verified by viewing the Stirling Ward Records 1899-1941 FHL film 105387 - searched July 1972.
Death date and place: 22 January 1942, Magrath, Alberta, Canada.
Burial date and place: 26 January 1942, Raymond, Alberta, Canada.
She married Stanley Franklin Cook on 6 June 1928 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada.
Marriage,death and burial information was given to me by a niece of Laura Christensen.
|Alicia (Pack) T.||Arvis and Leona Harmon--Exeter Cemetery|
Today I spoke with Arvis's and Leona's son regarding burial location. He confirmed that the Arvis Harmon you manage is his dad. His parents bought a double plot, but when a son (Billy Joe Harmon) died, Leona gave her plot to him. Leona is buried in the same cemetery, to the East of Arvis. She should have a headstone, but there is a grave between Leona's grave and Arvis's grave. Their son, Billy Joe, has an unmarked grave just to the North of Arvis (where Leona was supposed to be except she gave her plot to him).
Since Leona has no listing, what is the best course of action from here? Should someone create a listing for her so a photo request could then be submitted? Your input is appreciated. You may also contact me at email@example.com

Sorry about the last one. this voice recognition doesn't work too well...by chance, are you related to the Treat family? I have Claude married to Mary Katherine Henry, but I cannot find their marriage date. Do you have any information on that?
