I've been searching for our families for many years and finally had success with "Find A Grave". Now that I'm a volunteer, I am enjoying helping others with their search. Hobbies include sewing, chair caning and searching cemeteries. My husband, Richard, and I have been married 43 years and are now enjoying retirement in Tennessee. We have 2 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, and 3 grandchildren. I WILL GLADLY TRANSFER MAINTENANCE TO ANYONE RELATED TO THE POSTING I'VE MADE. I can not thank you enough for posting the memorials for the Cornelison sisters and their husbands. They are my great grand aunt and uncles. I have looked and looked for their graves. Hello JudyAnne,
By all rights, you should have this couple for your care. I am also related to the good doctor, but only distantly. If you would chase some links to the Dr.'s siblings, you will note that I am responsible for many of the early postings, and our ancestory goes far back to our mutual ancestor, Revolutionary Soldier, Jesse White. Dr. A.A. Pearson, stated in a letter, that he was seeking the grave of Jesse White, looking from a bend in the river, to a huge wooded area, where Jesse was buried. Look for the burial in White Cemetery, Autauga Co.
One of Jesse's daughters married a Pearson. I am 84 and near the end of the road, but have studied this family for 48 years. I assume that you are much younger than I, since I have eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. I shall transfer this couple to you, but will be in the future, if you allow me to give you some of the family history. I have much to share.
